Have just returned from a birthday treat 2 night break. My husband had booked a lake view room which lived up to our expectations. The view was amazing and we quickly realised how perfect the hotel setting is.Fortunately for us we arrived on N Ireland's hottest day of the year- an unbelievable 27 degree temperature!! I say fortunate but when we arrived at our room we quickly realised we would not be able to tolerate the extremely high room temperature. Pity no air conditioning but realise in NI there is probably no great need. We requested a fan and were told we could have the last available one- whew, what a stroke of luck. Dear help anyone else who needed one. Few small issues that would have made our stay even better; room temperature control, safe,fridge/mini bar, complimentary bottle water, bathrobes in room.
The breakfast was extremely good with a variety of hot food, fruit, cereals toast etc.
We found staff were helpful and friendly and we hope to return in the not too distant future.More
