Just back from an overnight stay at Abocurragh Farmhouse with my partner....what a beautiful, peaceful place! The house is surrounded by stunning scenery&we received a warm welcome on arrival. Bernie is a fabulous hostess: friendly, attentive and a super cook! The room was lovely& the bed was so comfortable. Best sleep I've had in a while in fact! Our breakfast was 5*and served with a big smile. We will definitely be back! :)

I stayed at Abocurragh Guest House recently when on a golf trip to the area. I would normally stay in one of the hotels in Enniskillen but my experience a Abocurragh has changed all that. What a beautiful and tranquil setting and such amazing hosts. Accommodation is first class and hospitality even better. The worry that you can have when booking into a hotel is that for one reason or another your night's sleep can be disturbed. The peaceful location, beautiful home, attentive and lovely hosts, and fantastically comfortable beds, ensured that I slept like a log. We had a 5 star breakfast before setting off to play our golf.

Will definitely be back.

We were a family of three adults occupying two rooms in early May. The views charmed us, as did Bernie the hostess.

The breakfast was wonderful; topnotch on the spectrum of Irish/British BnB breakfasts, and served perfectly with true concern toward accommodating guests.

The gardens are lovely at this time of the years and there are charming views from every window.

Bernie's friendly farm dog takes his duties as greeter very seriously and very politely. I am not even a "dog person" and I enjoyed his antics very much.

We were too shy to ask repeatedly, but the heating in our rooms seemed to be malfunctioning...one room was very much on (too much so) and one was completely off (a bit cold after showers). Somewhere in the middle would have been just right. I have a hunch that it would have been an easy problem to fix and that Bernie and her husband would have been more than happy to adjust things, but it was late when we discovered this, and we were reluctant to bother them. Just have that all checked out before the night falls, if you are staying during a time when you might want heat (or not want heat!).

Myself, my husband and our 16 months baby son stayed with Bernie for one night on route to the Balmoral Show in Belfast. Bernie couldn't do enough for us, the perfect hostess, nothing was too much trouble and advised us of places to eat in Enniskillen. The room was ideal for us and our son, a king size bed and fabulous ensuite. Our son had a large cot, just perfect for him. Breakfast was delicious, I had the pancakes and my husband had the full Ulster fry. A great start for the long day ahead of us. Abocurragh B&B deserves its 4 Star rating but is still within the budget for a family. Thank you Bernie and Gerry and we hope to see you again. P.S thank you Max (the family dog) for the warm, friendly, wet, loving welcome you gave us and our little boy who was delighted to meet him, Max even accompanied us on a stroll down the lane, just perfect........

Just had 2 nights stay at this b and b (easter 2014) and it was brilliant, food fantastic, hosts Bernie and Gerry you could not wish to meet a nicer couple and the room was immaculately clean. Would definately recommend to those looking for a relaxing quiet stay and it is just 15 minutes from enniskillen. We have stayed many times before and we always look forward to going back , and also we cannot forget Max the dog. Maisie and Billy

Abocurragh is located in the incredibly scenic Fermanagh region of northern ireland and is a fifteen minute drive away from Enniskillen, Lough Erne and a host of other attractions. it's a beautifully appointed cottage.
But the highlight of the stay was Bernie's hospitality. That included the wonderful breakfast, the home-baked breads, and the excellent advice on what to see and where to eat.
Would definitely want to go back there some day.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Bernie and Gerry's on our getaway weekend with our Jack Russell. The house is so comfortable and beautifully finished, and our room was enormous and just perfect. The breakfast was incredible - the effort Bernie put into it was mind-boggling - the poached apricots and the porridge with fresh berry compote to start, and then the eggs benedict and eggs royale cooked to perfection, with homemade jam and marmalade for the best toast we've ever had... WOW! Bernie is so wonderful - we're hoping to make it back again in spring, bringing more family with us!

Room Tip: Room number 1 is a large family room with a double bed and single bed and a 2-seater sofa opposite t...
