Driving through Enniskillen, even heading for a McDonalds, one will not miss the large banner boasting the value beating price-list for "eat all you can" dining at this Chinese near the traffic lights after Fermanagh College. £5.95 all day weekdays from 12.30p.m. until 5.00p.m. must make for one of the best value locations in Ulster! £9.99 after 5.00p.m., rising to £12.99 on Friday, Saturday evenings, when I am told there is the wider and the best menu. Dining there on a Wednesday evening in May the restaurant was pretty busy, with attentive staff replenishing the food, and swiftly removing used plates from tables when diners were up again for more food. Being a Wednesday evening, I again found there was no Aromatic Duck for starter, but a pork offering. The Duck would most likely be on for the Friday and Saturday night diners paying that £3 more! Friendly staff, great decor, clean toilets, and a lot of food available encourages repeat visits. The buffet "help yourself" extends to the take-away trade, where punters are given a plastic box to select their own food, after paying for this at the reception desk. Seasoned visitors eat a generous starter or soup and waitingly observe fresh trays of their favourite food or chips to arrive before making another dash to the buffet! Like some hotel carvery lunch bars, fresh food is always the most enjoyable. Great choice of fruits, cakes, ice-creams and jelly for desert but the Chocolate Fountain has layed there redundant on my two mid week visits there - perhaps a weekend or Sunday attraction for the children!. Nice wine and beer list, and soft drinks available at reasonable prices. Two dinners with a beer for one and a red wine for other on a Wednesday night should set you back by around £27.30. Looking forward to trying some weekend night!
