Our second visit was more by accident than choice. The rear entrance from the car park is inviting and welcoming, our first visit, the front facade is a little dowdy, and we only realised it was the same pub when we were well inside. The restaurant, a raised area at the rear, is always busy, and the food, good for families. The table beside us left most of their meal, his was a raw steak! The waitress never enquired about their satisfaction, very wrong. Again, the cask beers were faultless, and choice of wines adequate. We'll be back.
