“A fantastic experience in a wonderful house.”
Reviewed 10 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This property in Willoughby Place, Enniskillen has a real feel of quality. The attention to detail is unprecedented and the owners left no stone unturned to ensure that out stay was relaxed and enjoyable. The centre of Enniskillen is literally a stroll away and the Lough is just across the road as is the jetty where we boarded the boat for a great trip to Devenish Island. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Super luxury and elegance.

“Superb!”
Reviewed 29 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This house is even better in the flesh! The house is very well appointed and very tastefully decorated, the bedrooms are heavenly, the beds very comfortable and the attention to detail is lovely, we all wanted to move in. The terrace is a sun trap. It is a short walk into the town centre, and it was great to leave the car in its private space. We all thought this was the most luxurious place we had ever stayed in - we loved it. There is plenty to do in the area for a long weekend, and still things to do when we come back for another stay.

“Absolutely fabulous luxurious family weekend- highly recommend!”
Reviewed 2 February 2015 for a stay in January 2015

My husband booked this surprise weekend for our wedding anniversary and we invited Nana and Papa and the children along for the treat.
The house is truly beautiful and exquisite, the interior decoration is magnificent and attention to detail is absolutely spot on. The owners met us at the door with a very warm welcome and showed us around their house with much pride. Credit to their hard work at creating a luxurious yet comfortable house to spend a relaxing break.

The finishing touches made the stay all the more special, a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, breakfast cereals, wine, sweet treats and milk in the fridge! - these little touches - simple but brilliant. (Oh and my dad and husband loved the free wifi, I preferred the wine!)
A great place to spend the weekend, in my eyes better than a hotel room, the children (aged 6 & 7) had great space to play, a gorgeous bedroom, (biggest in the house!) and they especially loved taking the breakfast orders on Saturday and Sunday morning.

We ate out both evenings, fine food and wine in two local restaurants and a gentle yet short walk back to the house - easy, even in the month of January!
Sunday morning was spent relaxing, reading the papers & drinking coffee; the children were able to play with NO restrictions to being super quiet because they were confined to a hotel room, freedom to enjoy.
I would recommend this house to couples, looking a break away; to families with children of all ages; to families treating the grandparents...

A warm, relaxing yet luxurious house - my perfect break from the hamster wheel that we live in much of the time! 5 stars all the way! Thank you

Thank you very much for taking time out to share your thoughts. Josie, Claire and I are thrilled by your feedback on the property and its decoration, and are glad to hear that you enjoyed your welcome hamper including the wine!

“Wonderful place' gracious hosts.”
Reviewed 8 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything one could need. On arrival the hosts presented us with a magnificent food hamper and because it was Christmas they had also provided a Christmas Tree and decorations, it made us feel very much at home. Claire and her family went out of their way to make us feel welcome and I would definitely recommend this beautiful place to stay.

If you like Georgian elegance this is the place for you! Our family of four with two grown up children stayed here for three nights in August. The property is newly renovated with a new kitchen extension to the rear opening onto a sun terrace through French doors. The kitchen is tremendously bright, airy and modern yet with Georgian charm of the rest of the house. We tend to cook in a good deal when on holiday and the kitchen is very well equipped for this. The rest of the house is very spacious and our adult children loved having their own large bedrooms and space. The tall ceilings and large hall created real atmosphere with the living room looking out to the street which I enjoyed watching people walking in the evening. Wifi is plentiful and really works!, not like most places which promises wifi and is useless when you get there, and this was great as everyone wants to keep in touch went on holiday.
Paddy and Josie the owners are great hosts and you must stay here if you are looking for somewhere really charming

“Elegantly beautiful, spacious, clean, exceedingly comfortable, conveniently located.”

The house has recently been renovated to a very high standard and provided a perfect base for the three generations of our family staying there (grandparents, parents and children). We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed at the premises by the owners who had provided a few supplies to see us in (milk, tea, coffee, fruits, etc. even chocolates and a bottle of wine!) together with a welcome pack with local weather forecast and details of local attractions.

The house was very homely and exceedingly comfortable. It included just about everything that one would want, was spotlessly clean, luxuriously furnished in period style and beds were very comfortable. At the same time, the house was large enough to accommodate all six of us and allow us to occupy individual spaces (e.g. children watch kids TV, parents chat in dining area of kitchen, grandparents sit in a bedroom reading) when it was wished. We were blessed with excellent weather, but had one stayed in, the house would have provided a most comfortable environment.

Enniskillen is a very attractive small town. The house is located just ten minutes’ walk from the town centre, including the main shopping street and antiquities (castle, museum, etc.). A filling station with a small but well-provisioned supermarket lies around a quarter of a mile away in the other direction, also in easy walking distance.

The yard behind the house included a gas barbeque (not used) and outside table and chairs.

We were in the area in order to attend a wedding and had opportunity to view and compare our accommodation with that provided in chalets at one of the major resorts in the area. Both we and those staying at the resort scored the house much more highly, yet it worked out at the same price per person for a one week stay.

We would highly recommend the accommodation and certainly return there ourselves if in the area.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with such a wonderful review! The fact that you scored Willoughby Place more highly than one of the local resorts in Fermanagh genuinely means a lot to us. Josie and I are delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay at Willoughby Place, and we look forward to welcoming you and your family in the future.
