We visited this garden centre last year and were impressed with what we saw although like most of the big ones now, there is more furniture, cards, clothes, handbags and deli shop than plants. this year there was not much choice in bedding out plants and just the usual ones, no new ones. I have to say that our local garden centre, Pacific Nursery in Aldridge has a much better selection and new varieties as well.

the restaurant was awful. cheap quality for an extremely expensive price. three drinks, two scones and a cake came to ~£20. cake had been frozen and definitely wasn't homemade, neither were the scones. the tiniest pot of cheap quality jam was alongside the scones. never eating there again.

Having visited Webbs restaurant I have now read the reviews of others. The wrong way round I know and unfortunately, my experience was similar to others. Two sandwiches (which weren't the best) and two cups of tea for over £17 was OTT.
My wife e-mailed Webb's and complained that the quality was lacking and that the food was over-priced. She got a bland rebuffing reply stating that they use fresh locally sourced quality ingredients and their prices reflect this. Sorry Webb's, if other local restaurants and cafes, who use locally sourced produce can do it better, for less, why can't you? I just feel it was a total rip-off.

This is a brilliant place to shop for so many different things from plants to sheds, outdoor clothing to local cider. There's also a Lakeland shop which I love. You could certainly spend a couple of hours or more browsing. For me, the best bit was the gardens they've created just over the road from the car park. If you don't know they're there you'd probably miss them, but if you're looking for a few garden design ideas this really is a great starting point.

I am in love with Webbs! One of the few places you can actually get a gluten free sandwich with a full range of fillings. The prices are fine in the cafe as the quality is very high. Elsewhere there is the full range of 'destination' knick knacks and home and garden fripperies to entertain on a wet day but also very good quality plants for indoors and outdoors at reasonable prices. We dropped in on our way to Worcester to visit the student daughter but we will be going back regularly. She will also make the trip on her own for bits and bobs and a coffee stop as she also loves it.
