Just got back from a week's holiday here, our first visit but will not be the last! Lisa was friendly and helpful and the accommodation could not be faulted. Although weather was mixed, there are so many things to do and see in the area that it was never a problem. Riverside's location could not be bettered, being within walking distance (and what a pretty way it is along the river) of Christchurch centre with shops, cafes etc. A boat trip up to Hengistbury Head and walking back, recrossing the river on the Wick ferry is lovely - in fact, you could have virtually a car free holiday if you wished.

We have just come back from a week staying at Riverside. The location and accommodation is fantastic. My 3 1/2 year old daughter especially liked feeding the ducks and the splash park which is just around the corner. Christchurch is a great place to go with kids, and Riverside is in a perfect location to explore.

Riverside Park exceeded our expectations. The townhouse is in a great location with everything close by. It's very well equipped and finished to a high standard. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and made the booking process very easy. Can highly recommend!

Just returned from Riverside having had another very good break. This is a third visit since March 2012 so, I think that says something about the property. Having come to the Dorset/Hampshire/Wiltshire areas for over 40 years this has been a wonderful 'find'. The Townhouses - and we've been in three different ones, are five star rating as far as we are concerned with all home comforts. Heating is great, a little extra to pay during certain months but, not at all 'over the top'. Lisa and Simon run an excellent Holiday Park and, as usual, are on hand with any help or advice required. We hope to return in the very near future to continue a love affair with this area.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely.

Just returned from a 3 night break in Townhouse 'C'. Location is brilliant, by river, short walk to town, near by ferry to Wick for walks to Hengisbury head.
This Townhouse had high quality fixtures, fittings & furnishings, really lovely, no expense spared.
There was a double & 2 singles & It was good to have 2 loos, when there's 4 people.
Didn't make use of the terrace & garden as cold & snowed! Unexpectedly. You pay for heating out of season, it cost us £15 for 3 nights, but we did NOT go cold and the rooms heated up quickly.
The owner Lisa was lovely and helpful, from booking to departure. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love a hotter weather visit.

Room Tip: Look at town-house descriptions, to get the best bedroom combi for your party.

We stayed at Riverside Park in May 2012, a treat for my wife's birthday. We had stayed their before and it was good to be back. It's such a wonderful location, right by the river and a short walk into town. Lisa the owner is very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is spotless, spacious and has everything you need for a great holiday. If you don't want to self cater all of the time, there is a good selection of cafe's, pubs and restaurants to be found in the town. Christchurch is a wonderful place to stay for a holiday, but if you want to venture further afield, Bournmouth, Poole, New Forest etc. are not far away and with attractions like the Motor Museum at Beaulieu there is plenty to see and do.

Thank you Lisa for a great holiday.

Have just returned from a week here and i cannot recommend the place enough.

We stayed in number 3 (i guess this is 1C according to the website).

This has 1 double bedroom with the balcony and then 2 single bedrooms up on the top floor.

Well kept, clean and tidy, modern accommodation.

Comfortable bed with quality pillows and duvet.

As all the other reviews and the website will tell you, yes there are steps to everywhere.

In all honesty though after the first night you won't notice them.

It was great having the car port when the weather wasn't nice as you always kept dry.

Nice walk along the river in to the town or you can walk along the main road. Either way, its a maximum of 10 minutes.

I am tough person to please with places to stay as i am very picky but i cannot pick fault here at all.

Lisa is based on site too so if you need anything, she is around to ask.

Paid for the electricity which we paid £13 for the week which i was chuffed with. We had the oven on every day and the TV and heater in the lounge were on near enough every evening.

Even looked and the larger house before we left as would love to return with family.

A great base to explore the surrounding areas.

Thank you for a great holiday.
