Average average average but very popular with the tourists.
Inside seating is very scarce but loads of picnic tables outside.
It will do, but that's all.

I recently visited the Haven House Inn with my girlfriend, and will definitely go again. The Cod which was massive was delightful, my girlfriend had scampi and that was very nice too. The pub itself was absolutely rammed as it was a lovely day, yet the staff still were pleasant and the food came out pretty quick which is always a bonus. I have to say I'm a big real ale fan, and the Ringwood Best bitter I had was one of the best pints of bitter I've ever had. Kudos!

Went here hoping that as they were situated on Mudeford Quay, next door to a fresh fish shop and near the fishermen they would have fresh fish on the menu. No, on a Monday no mixed fish platter or scampi, then we realized it was all breaded and frozen. If it was me running the place, fresh fish all the way. Walk along the front and go to the Lobster place,

Went to this pub on Saturday. Nice sea views but the food wasn't very good at all. Anaemic- looking baguette, prawn cocktail sandwich where the prawns had no flavour and there was marg/butter on the bread which was unneccessary. Cider tasteless as well.

However, I have had fish and chips here last year, which were much better than the lunchtime snacks.

Went for evening meal. Atmosphere good as ever, always packed. I had scampi and chips and have no complaints about the food, chips hot and crisp served with good quality scampi. Mind you, you'd expect that for around £8. Husband had regular cod and chips which again was cooked really well but was child's portion for the price. They know what to charge for the drinks too but I guess it's a captive market.
