Our kids have been regular visitors here- birthday parties, Cubs parties and tennis club parties. Each time they love it. Reasonably priced attraction, good fun, clean and spacious environment and a good food menu on offer. Lots of on site parking as well. Definately worth a visit.

Came here on a college trip and found it to be a very interesting place as they don't just do skiing and snowboarding but there is also ringos which are rubber rings and you sit down crossing your legs and slide down a slope and ski-bobs which are like mini sledges. While I enjoyed both I felt that you can get bored after 30-35 minutes and since there is no price for 45 minutes it leaves you with a choice of 1 hour which is too much or 30 minutes which is too short.
Conclusion- Snowtrax is worth visiting because there are not many places in the UK where you can try popular winter sports such as skiing and if you don't like it then ringos and ski-bobs are just as fun although after a while you might get tired of it and the slope from the bottom to the top is very steep and will make you aware that winter sports require good fitness.

Formerly Christchurch Ski and Leisure Centre situated in an almost apline location on Matchams Lane offers a "better than nothing" ski experience, reasonably atmospheric apres ski in the Alpine Bistro and now a very well stocked shop the equal of many a ski resort. The dry slope was re-surfaced in 2011 but the antiquated handle-bar drag remains. Avoid if you are an intermediate or experienced skier BUT if venturing out skiing for the first time well worth getting a taster or lessons here so you can make faster progress in resort. The shop large and well stocked and the Apres Ski in the Alpine Bistro is pretty good for the UK. I no longer ski there but use the shop and bistro from time to time - has some decent two meals for £10 offers. Also offers ringos and ski-bobs for childrens parties all year around. It makes an all year round family fun and/or lunch destination.

I was challanged to arrange a fun and different training day and came across Snowtrax (a recommendation by a friend). The corporate room was snug, but offered easy seating for 30 with 4 break out areas. Staff were attentive, helpful and organised throughout the day. Lunch was excellent with a great variety and it all went down extremely well. At the end of the training day we used the Ringo's slop and it allowed all those attended an exciting and fun was to finish the day. Again staff were helpful and enjoyed helping people enjoy the slop. No issues with queuing and half an hour was plenty for all to enjoy a twist / difference training day. I would have no issue using Snowtrax as a venue. The pricing was also extremely competitive and this made the day even better, as we had flexibility to added more fun elements to the day.
From booking (Khloe) and during the day (Vicky) I could not have asked for more. I look forward to using the venue again, hopefully early next year and would highly recommend to those looking for a corporate day with a difference.

We had a party of French exchange students to entertain. On Monday evening, together with the English children from school we had a teen party at Snowtrax. There were 27 children in our party and everyone had a fantastic time. The staff were patient and good fun and nothing was too much trouble despite the chaos of catering for non English speaking kids who were all very excited to be there, The menu was perfect, even for our French gourmets!! As parents, we could sit in the bar or watch the children from the terrace and so it was a good way to interact with everyone. It was truly a value for money great team builder/ice breaker which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone. In the summer when they return to our school for the next part of the exchange, I am sure they will want to visit Snowtrax again.
