Booked for three people for Sunday lunch to finish off a special weekend. Unfortunately we were slightly later than our booked time but a phone call to alert the restaurant ensured we kept our table. The food was excellent throughout; beautifully served and hot; lovely warm, homemade bread rolls too, really great to dip into the oil and balsamic vinegar, if you can resist the delicious butter! Good sized portions, whitebait very appetising as a "nibble", with the roast pork really tasty - the Yorkshire pudding with it was a surprise, but very welcome! We could not resist the desserts and had three different dishes, all of which were well presented, interesting and above all tasted delicious! In reality, with the generous sizes you could easily have one dessert between two but quite honestly the quality of the food made it very hard to resist the temptation! Service was attentive throughout, we were not rushed at all. Overall, a super experience, with great food and very friendly service. Thank you and we would not hesitate to recommend the Inn. We will return!
