Our family of 6 American tourists wanted to have a "road less travelled" experience and we decided Foxham was the place to do it. The rooms are kept impeccably clean, they are new with a nice modern bathroom. Sarah equips the bathroom with lovely bath products. The rooms are small but very well furnished. Tea and coffee facilities are supplied as well. Sarah is a lovely hostess - great sense of humor. We enjoyed talking with her and Neil and their son is so handsome - the quintessential curly ginger headed kid. Our kids - 10 and 11, loved playing table tennis and having the pub to our selves in the morning. Dinner was delicious - venison, trout, fried fish; dessert was to die for. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful - they have a special black pudding they order from Scotland which is excellent (and we're not fans of black pudding). We had a comfy stay, yummy food, and enjoyed our hosts so much. By the way, this is a good place if you want to visit Avebury Stones at night. Do stay here if you have a car - its a memorable non-touristy experience.

Booked late in the afternoon for an overnight business stay. Room very comfortable and nicely appointed but the bonus was the excellent food and the friendly welcome. Dinner of snails, steak and apple crumble with ice cream. All my favourites on one menu topped off the next morning by one of the best English breakfasts I have ever had. Just keeping fingers crossed I have to stay over for a few more nights during the winter months.

A great getaway for a night or just a meal. The menu is wonderful. The owners double up as Chef, Bartender, server and do a spectactular job. Very friendly and cosy. Everything about the property is first class. Would highly recommend.

We stayed only the one night as it is only 15 to 20 minutes from Chippenahm, and we found the pub perfectly pleasant, clean tidy rooms and a quiet country night. 2 jolly good ales on too! Excellent.
PPS the brainless programme wants minimum of 200 characters, - why do you need more than the word perfect. or Excellent or great!

Had a great overnight stay at the Foxham Inn. Lovely old pub atmosphere with modern touches. The recently built rooms were lovely, and the beds and pillows so comfortable. Perfect hosts and superb dinner and breakfast. Only wish we passed through the area more often so we had an excuse to stay again!

Booked a room at the last minute; really pleased I did so. It's a friendly local in a quiet little village.
The room was lovely, as was the welcome. A really comfortable bed, a large en-suite with a powerful shower.
The food in the evening was absolutely superb, and fantastic value for money. The breakfast was fantastic too.
I shall definitely be back next time I am in the area.

What a find, we were traveling and needed a night stop and booked direct with owners. Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food, amazing breakfast and to top it all a very comfortable bed and pillows. The room was very nice all round. The owners very welcoming and friendly. Wolud stop again if we could.

Room Tip: Don't eat before you arrive.
