Tried the chefs taster menu for £105. Overall the food was very good, though portions a little small for the price compared to other chefs taster menus we have had - Le Manoir being one example. The only minor gripe food wise, was they did not serve any biscuits with the cheese - only bread and some fried wafer concoction (too fatty). As one food writer pointed out - cheese without biscuits is like an actor without a stage or a kiss without a squeeze.
The service was very good but have enjoyed better in terms of personal attention , for example at The Priory in Bath when it came to the cheese board we were given an excellent presentation about the origin of the cheese, taste , which biscuits suited which cheese etc and the service felt we were being given much more personal attention. At the Park it was not so individualised.
Nevertheless, an enjoyable evening
