Owner description: This long established farm animal petting attraction, here at prickly ball farm we rescue, rehabilitate, and release our native hedgehog back to the wild once they are fit and well, All the good work that we do here is all self funded, so your entrance fee is directly supporting our hedgehog care. We have a cafe serving fresh barista coffee, many teas also serving breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas and an amazing selection of cake!!!!!! The cafe can be used without paying an entrance.

We camped here for a couple of days, which you can do if you're a member of the camping and caravanning club, and we wish we could have stayed longer. There aren't many places where you can see so many British species in one place and this has got to be among the best. The tour of the hospital was brilliant and easily worth the additional £1:50. Following the provided list of talks and feeding times will ensure that you see all the animals as some may be reluctant to show themselves at other times. The staff and volunteers are all enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe has a wide selection of good well presented food at reasonable prices. We will definitely visit again, probably several times.

We visited last Sunday and the kids loved it. Friendly staff. Lovely cafe with plenty of food to choose from. Little shop on the way out to buy a sovenier! Would go again.

A brilliant day out for both adults & children, we enjoyed the animal handling & the tour around the hospital was well worth the extra £1.50 We learnt a lot from the dedicated & enthusiastic staff. The centre is set in beautiful Devonshire countryside. The animals resident at the centre are obviously well cared for & an amazing chance to see British wildlife up close. We will definitely visit again & again.

What a find...we are just big kids and it was great to get the chance to be just that. The staff were brilliant and we got to do all the stuff the little kids do, play with and feed the lambs, walk the ferrets and so much more. This is a great place for families, large and small, old and young alike...Go there and see for yourselves!!!!
