On arrival they couldn't find our booking but luckily there were some tables still left available. It took a little while for our drinks to be ordered, however service improved as the evening progressed and was much more efficient. Mains were excellent - smoked salmon and the lamb rump. The raspberry mousse too was excellent, however the panna cotta itself was a bit of a let down - far too heavy but the marinated strawberries and shortbread biscuit were lovely. Nice building however there seemed to be a plethora of signs at the front and the rear of the building advertising lunches, dinner, rooms, etc which was a shame. Nice garden at the rear and 2 smallish rooms inside to eat.
