We played this course twice while staying in the area. I can understand its very mixed reviews. We played on 2 lovely days (each time after a rainy day). We were lucky enough to have had days when the ball hit the fairways more often than not and found them in great shape. The greens were slow but were true. I can quite see if you had one of those days when the weather is not so good combined with tangling with the horrendous rough and occasional poorly drained sections you might not be a happy bunny. The staff and members were very welcoming.
