“nice little place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 December 2013

We stopped here with our bus for a little break. The place is not bad at all, they have very good coffee to take away and propose local pastries.

The main shop sells souvenirs which you can find in a lot of different places for more or less the same price so unless this will before last stop before heading home, I would not buy anything.

The place has a great parking, with amazing landscape views, especially on the back side.

Of course we went to say hello to the local star Hamish! He seemed to be a gentle cow, just continuing eating and resting without minding us. My only worry was that his paddock was too small and totally ruined by the mud.

“Same old thing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2013

Trossachs Woollen Mill, Edinburgh Woollen Mill etc. etc. etc. They are all owned by the same hiolding company, it seems - goods never differ, prices never appear to differ. See one, you've seen them all.
If they all offer the same goods, at the same price, on the same offers - what is the point of going? Some offer better coffee than others I suppose. Some have bigger car parks. Wow!

“A nice wee cuppa”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

Have been in the Mill a few times now with my hubby. Mainly for a cuppa and pancake as a stop off point to refuel. Nice to sit outside when the weather allows. Staff are nice and helpful although I would suggest that the Mill is predominantly set out for tourists as it can be quite pricey. I am a baker and a lot of the cake products are expensive. Also mass produced "Scottish stuff" in the shop. Lovely Highland coos in the adjacent field which are a great talking point for tourists. Toilets are OK but could do with smelling a bit fresher and a wee but more attention to cleanliness throughout the day. Nice wee stop off point fr a cuppa and to take a rest. Well done

“Good spot for a short coffee break”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2013

We stopped here for a coffee, the tea room was quite busy and we enjoyed looking around the shop. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. The prices were acceptable.

Pleasant service, good choice, but not very pleasant sitting outside , bit like a messy service station.
