“The best coffee in Callander”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2013 via mobile

I stay in Callander, and it's great having so many wonderful eateries and coffee shops within walking distance. The coffee here is the best by far, and I really like their homemade soups and sandwiches. You cannot beat a lazy afternoon with a coffee, cake and a seat by the wood burning stove (on a cold winters day).

“Delicious Homemade Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2013

My husband and I had our lunch here on our first day in Callander and were not left disappointed. This is a lovely little cafe/deli with a huge range of produce to buy and some amazing home cooked food. We chose the soup, which was lentil, and was delicious. We also choose a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich, and a ham and cheese toastie. These again were both delicious with huge slices of honey roast ham filling the toastie to maximum capacity!!! Worth a visit and would recommend. We would be happy to eat here again.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2013

We had a bit of a walking day before us and headed in here for breakfast. The service was friendly and the food cooked fresh to order. There was not a scrap left on our plates! Lots of lovely foody stuff on sale too. Will be back for the cake!

“A hidden oasis of good produce”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2013

I took my wife here on a trip into Callander for a coffee and cake as I had been here before. I was again not disappointed as to the quality fo the cakes or the atmospher and friendliness of the staff.

Hidden away next to the Tourist Information Centre it is well worth the visit. And the cakes are to die for!

“A Haven of good food and warmth!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2013

As soon as you open the door you feel the warmth from one of the most futuristic log burners I have ever seen. Delicious food whatever you order and in portions that make it worth while. We had the scotch broth soup and it was devine having been made with fresh vegetables and not apacket or tin in sight. Home made granary bread. You can even buy a bottle of oak leaf wine or whiskey marmalade if you want .if you feel the need. There is a small car park behind the church(tourist centre) and in less than fifteen steps you are at "deli ecosse". No big signs, just the noise of happy eaters. I do hope they do not spoil it by raising prices, because it is a little gold mine in its current format.
