“Unique character”
Reviewed 20 April 2013

We ate here only once in our recent visit to the area, but that one time was one of the best steaks that I have had and I have tried many places over the years.
The building itself has so much character, the service was first class, From The outside it looks like a timber shed, but its sooo much more than a tea room and i'm sure it will go from strength to strength serving good food well cooked and at a reasonable price.
If im back down that way again I will definitely try to find time to call again.

“Good discovery”
Reviewed 19 April 2013

After a most enjoyable hill walk above Glen Finglas, my wife and I called in at the Brig O'Turk Tearoom for tea and cakes. Good decision! There was an excellent choice of teas (which we appreciate), and the home-baked cakes on offer were very tempting. Those we chose were delicious. The service (from the very pleasant proprietor) was also friendly and helpful. To be recommended.

“lovely tea”
Reviewed 15 April 2013

Today 15th April my husband and I had our tea here. We are staying nearby for a week, on our way out for a drive we decided to go in for tea. To our surprise the food was lovely, the best burger and chips we have had in a long time and the service was good and very friendly. we will definitely be back before we go home.

“SO FRESH!”
Reviewed 14 April 2013

Have visited a couple of times now and enjoyed everything we've had. Set in what resembles a lodge, the tearoom/restaurant is warm and quant. The staff,Hungarian I think, are very attentive and welcoming. The menu was refreshingly different with lots of choice and included Goulash served in a small bucket.I loved it!
The cakes and scones are wonderful. So Fresh and what a selection!Go early at week-end to avoid disappointment.Open also for Dinner and licenced.Beautiful walks in this area,so great place to pop into before or after for sustainance.
