Very nice peaceful garden setting. Margaret serves various things but most famous for the Cream Teas. Very friendly. Interesting to watch some of the customers reversing out of the car park only to end up with spinning wheels as they try unsuccessfully to navigate a dip in the lane.

We drove here from Summerleaze beach. Margaret's is right by the coast near a cliff edge which makes for stunning scenery. Amazing cream tea with lashings of clotted cream for £4.50 which includes a hot or cold drink; sausage rolls and freshly cut sandwiches are also available.

Margaret is very friendly and took the time to chat with us; it feels like you're sitting in someone's garden for afternoon tea! If you're in Bude it's definitely worth a visit

This place is an institution! Margaret serves sarnies/ pasties/ sausage rolls / cakes and cream teas from a caravan-
all profits are donated to the RNLI !!

Margaret's is exactly what the name suggests - a rustic tea garden, with tea and cakes served from a caravan in a pretty location at Northcott Mouth. It is a garden, as opposed to a tea room, so no shelter. Margaret is very jolly, with an infectious laugh, and is most welcoming. You can relax by the stream and enjoy a welcome hot or cold drink. Whilst the scones and cakes were not the best we've tasted, the location and the atmosphere more than make up for it. A unique experience!

Years ago we used to visit this caravan selling tea & coffee our children thought it very unusual which it is and the garden setting is lovely.
Last year we decided to visit again to rekindle fond memories. We walked from Sandy, ouch which isn’t far but this day it was cold wet and windy. We arrived and two other ladies were also their we thought as we were the only customers we would have been asked to sit inside as it was pouring but NO we had to sit outside dripping.
Sadly The coffee was instant and not the best.
The cakes look amazing but what you are served with is another matter.
On the plus side Margaret and I took as her daughter were cheery. Also we were allowed to use the caravan toilet. As regular walkers on this coast line we would use it more often but we decline and use other coffee stops.
I do think in 2018 a gazebo at least to sit under would be great. A small coffee machine or filter caffetteires could be the answer with good quality coffee.
Prices I thought high for what you are served. Shame as it could be a gold mine.
