Just perfect in every way. Beautiful property on the canal banks. We absolutely loved it. Teenage/young children adults and doggies!

Just stayed at this property and had a wonderful time. The accommodation was clean and well furnished with a great view of the canal. No road noise and only a short walk to town and the beach. Kayaking the canal was fun and good area for running. Looking forward to going back again. The owners responded to questions and were very helpful. Would recommend staying here.

From walking into the property first time and hearing the family going wow, wow.I knew we had made the right choice.from top to bottom, everything was first class, and it only got better.
Inside clean and spacious, outside the decking which was used each day,was a bonus, and
rowing boat was used regularly.
Location ideal close enough to walk to local bars, restaurants, yet once back at the apartment, quiet enough to just watch the world go by.
Have holiday end in Bude for over 30 years and this will probably be the most talked about, and most remembered.

This really is one of the nicest rental properties in the area with all the comforts of being at home, the fun of the seaside and the delights of the canal and the nature reserve.

The house has everything you need for a great holiday, with comfortable bedrooms, lots of indoor and outdoor activities, several comfortable seating areas, nice decor and an unbeatable location. The property is kept spotlessly clean and we can always turn up with the house ready to go for the start of our holiday. The large kitchen/diner is perfect for family dinners but there are several good restaurants and pubs nearby (the Brendon Arms, is a particular favourite) if you don't feel like cooking. There are loads of others catering for all types of tastes. The private deck right next to the canal is great for breakfast in the sunshine or for lunch and for feeding the ducks and swans with your crusts :) We've always loved taking a boat load of us up and down the canal in the house's own rowing boat and the recent addition of the kayaks has been an absolute hit with the kids. A great game to play with any eager rowers is to take a nice walk along the canal and then phone them and get them to come and ferry you across the other side.

Bude itself is a delightful seaside town, with great sandy beaches, loads of seaside and country walks, great restaurants, and a full selection of shops: from the little independent ones run by locals and some of the nicer chains. We've often picked up a few bits of clothing from the shops in the town. Pengenna Pasties in the centre is an absolute must for all us lovers of the traditional Cornish Pasty :)

WiFi is essential for everyone with their phones and gadgets and that's recently been upgraded and you can connect all over the house and outside on the decking.

We've stayed here lots over the years and it's particularly nice to see how the owners are constantly adding facilities and features and improving the property: a particular pleasure has been using the secluded terrace at the back of the house, which catches the sun in the afternoon and is perfect for catching up with a good book and a nice cup of tea. The completely refurbished bathroom is also great, more like a five-star hotel than a holiday let! We like it so much we usually make our next booking before we've even left and I know some regulars book up to a year in advance!
