Description: The bank at Bude imports traditional Spanish ingredients and then blends them with fresh Cornish produce which gives this place our Cornish twist on Spanish tapas with great cornish steaks

Went mid afternoon for lunch, so was reasonably quiet, sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a great lunch.
Good selection of tapas to suit all tastes and well cooked especially the mussels.
Service was attentive and very efficient.
Didn't have any wine but the selection and price list was very reasonable.
The bank is fairly small and appears to be popular so maybe busy on an evening as other reviewers have mentioned.... But if you prefer a quieter restaurant with faster service consider going for a mid afternoon lunch!!
Overall very impressed and will be visiting again before the holiday ends

We found the service rather slow we were seated and then no one came back to even give us a menu or to take a drink order. When eventually we did order we shared a tapas (one as an entree) it was delicious chorizo with mushrooms. The ordered a main of fish which was pleasant but not spectacular. My husband ordered dessert that was taken to an art form enjoyed it. The restaurant, problem is it has squished to many tables into the available space and it really does not work as it seems unnaturally crowded. However the host is an extremely pleasant fellow and was trying his best to please. I would return for the tapas and the dessert.

Not sure how this place has had so many top reviews,Visited last night and were not impressed.
The service we were given can only be described as poor and the food ok,Table not big enough
nobody helped by clearing finished glasses, plates etc We were not checked during our meal as to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything else,The place felt grubby and as for the toilets my advise is don't risk it!!!!!!!Oh and by the way the overpriced ice cream desserts were almost melted by the time they arrived.

A large group of us went here on a Saturday night. It was my first visit but it won't be the last! The tapas were great - and good portions too. Especially loved the crispy aubergine with honey. Yum! House wine was very reasonably priced and very good. Some authentic spanish guitar music added to the ambience.

Visited mid week in July with family.
First off......food was good...everyone enjoyed it...reasonable value, good quality and well presented....but

quite cramped, poor ventilation, slow service...especially when first seated..took ages to get a drink and order.food...even though restaurant was not full
glass panel walls give a view over the surrounding area and setting sun...but nothing fantastic...
poor acoustics....could hear every word of the conversation on table behind me but had to strain to hear my wife sitting opposite

wine....reasonable value.....but sangria lacked any alcoholic kick and therefore deemed expensive for what it was.

would we go back??...possibly
