Booked a suite room 202 on the second floor, the suite was really lovely, it had a lovely bathroom with a TV on the wall. The hotel is small with friendly pleasant staff with a nice atmosphere around the hotel. The bar area is very nice and also the outside area is nice to chill in with a drink after a day out in the area. Breakfast was very nice and service was good. We also ate here one evening the food was very nice but limited on choice. The hotel is literally 5 mins from town. The town has many nice bars near the canal for during the day or evenings. We did enjoy our time at the hotel however was spoilt for myself and partner due to having noisy neighbours above our suite, the above room is in the loft space above suite 202, we could hear their TV and footsteps walking above our heads the first night till at least 12.30 am the second night not their fault but we could hear them on their balcony chatting away and once again we could hear their footsteps above our heads, it was so bad that I called down to reception at 11.30am this was two nights without a proper night's sleep and I felt like going home thats how bad it was for me reception said they would knock and gave a word after about 20 minutes it went silent, also be aware that underneath room 202 are speakers under the room in the celling so yes you hear the music slightly in your room till 11pm, so booking the best room ie the suite is not always promised a quality stay or sleep due to who your neighbours are above you. Having complained twice about having no sleep you would think they would have said ie have a drink on us or have a free meal in our restaurant there was nothing like that if this was the TV program 4 in a bed I would have with held some cash back for two nights disturbed sleep out of my three nights stay remember the suit is 270 a night and due to who is above you in the room above makes or breaks your sleep so if you are going to book and want a nights sleep book another room on the 2nd floor apart from 202 and 201 the rest of the rooms on the 2nd floor dont have folk on top of you which sounds like they are jumping on the celling then your have a good stay... go visit tintagel and the Eden project but book first otherwise you can not go in

Room tip: Suite 202 you could have noisey neighbours above you ..you hear every sound

Kerenza was beautifully presented throughout with friendly welcoming staff. Our double room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed eg. hairdryer, iron, tea and coffee and a fan as it was incredibly hot during our visit. Breakfast was a selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants, juices, tea and coffee and cooked breakfasts to order. We had an evening meal at the hotel which, like the Breakfast, was excellent. The bar and terrace were comfortable areas to sit for a drink too. Plenty of car parking available and a 5/10 min walk to the beach and Bude centre. What more could you want.

Booked this as a last minute break away last week, for three nights. Hotel is conveniently situated a short walk from Crooklets Beach in one direction, and the town in the other.
We stumbled upon a little gem with this hotel. Our room, although not large, was freshly decorated and immaculate. Bed was comfortable with crisp white linen. Bathroom was spotless with a small selection of complimentary toiletries, and fluffy fat towels. The room had kettle/coffee & tea and a couple of biscuits, and there was an iron & hairdryer tucked away in the cupboard. A perfectly well equipped, clean and fresh room. We were there on the hottest days of the year, and with no air-con the room was hot, but the hotel already had a fan whirring away in there to cool the room as much as possible.
Breakfast was really good. A decent buffet with cereal, yoghurt, pastries and fruit to choose from and a great hot a'la Carte menu. The full breakfast was also available as a veggy option, as well as other choices such as eggs benedict. All freshly cooked and delicious.
We used the well-decorated bar area every day, had a few great cocktails and several cold pints to alleviate the hot weather - was a comfortable area to unwind at the end of the day.
We found the team there to be super-helpful with everything we needed. Friendly and chatty without being intrusive.
We were ony able to eat in the restaurant on one evening, but the food was good when we did. Unfortunately, the manager explained to us that she had been unable to employ a chef full time - despite her best efforts - so the restaurant could not open every night. She was super apologetic about this; and recommended a few other places we could eat in town. Sadly, during our stay, the whole of Bude had the same issue...no staff due to Covid pings, and just about everywhere was shut or full. So we struggled to eat out anywhere. Obviously, this is not the fault of the hotel, of course, and the manager did say that she would be more than happy to set up a table in the restaurant for us if we wanted to bring our own food in.
Hotel has a decent outside seating area, which I understand will soon be further improved. Car parking was not an issue - a large car park was available.
All in all, a really lovely hotel - nice rooms, very helpful friendly staff.

We came to this hotel with our young toddler for our first holiday away. The hotel looked lovely upon arrival and the impression stuck throughout our stay with every part impressing us.

The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding and nothing was too much trouble. One of our party was diabetic and they ensured that a fridge was available to store their insulin in despite us forgetting to mention it before we arrived. Our son was particularly enamoured with the waitresses and waiters who took the time out of their busy days to make conversation with him. They were a real credit to the hotel.

The food was great too, we had an evening meal there and breakfast every day, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed as did our son!

The decor was very classy and modern and really suited the feel of the place. We were also very impressed by how clean everything was. The furniture was very comfortable and pleasant to sit on, this included the outdoor furniture which we used in the evenings for eating and also having a beverage.

The room was very spacious, set out well and the decor again worked well. The room had a fan which was very useful considering we came down during the hottest days in July, it really helped to keep the room cool. The tea and coffee facilities were good and our son loved the complimentary biscuits. Our favourite part about the room however was the bathroom and the shower which was so spacious and lovely, it looked good and it worked well with the water pressure being high, ensuring that all the sand was washed off after we had been to the beach.
