We have just returned from a one-night stay at Little Heathers, but made sure to reserve our second visit before we left. I will not repeat what has already been said by others, other than to say that it is all true. I don't think that I have ever stayed in such an immaculately clean, comfortable and well decorated place before. Paul and Wendy are charming, and are beyond attentive, without ever being intrusive. My wife has a medical condition which we didn't mention before arriving, however Wendy thought to pick some specialist items when down the shops to make my wife's stay more comfortable. This place has it all as far as we are concerned, a beautiful country location coupled with a fantastic accommodation.

We chose Little Heathers largely due to it's proximity to the stables where we were keeping our horses for the weekend and what a find it was. The two en-suite rooms are spacious, welcoming, absolutely spotless and equipped to a standard more akin to a 4 / 5 star hotel. Wendy and Paul could not have been more hospitable if they tried. Not only did they provide a constant taxi service to and from the stables, but also to and from the hotel where we booked dinner. They also invited us to stay soaking up the sun in their immaculate and peaceful garden way after check out time and supplied us with a very welcome jugs of Pimms, plus olives and crisps. We all left agreeing that we would not only thoroughly recommend Little Heathers, but we would certainly all be revisiting in the near future.

Returning to Little Heathers was more like visiting old friends than booking into a B&B. The welcome and all the many extra little things Wendy & Paul provide and do to make your stay special are, if anything, even better second time around, partly because you look forward to it knowing jolly well it's going to be excellent. I’ve no doubt we’ll be back again and many thanks to them both for making us, and yet more of our friends, so comfortable. A wonderful weekend.

This review is for a visit in February of this year. Apologies for the delay: I’ve been off the internet for several months.

In need of a relaxing mid-week break not too far from London, the New Forest seemed ideal and TripAdvisor reviews pointed straight to Little Heathers for location, price, friendliness and quality of accommodation. We were not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay: our host Wendy and her fab B&B made our holiday.

Soon after our return home, my partner took her daughter for a short break to Brighton at the Twenty One, voted by TripAdvisor reviewers as the best B&B in the world in 2012; we’d been there two years ago and have a fantastic time. On her return I wasn't surprised to hear that although her Brighton visit had been a delight, she’d preferred her stay with Wendy in the New Forest.

That makes Little Heathers the best B&B in the world and only a fool would disagree with my better half; I cannot wait to visit again!

Nothing is left to chance by proprietors Wendy and Paul. The welcome as warm as the complimentary home-made scones, cakes and tea; the rooms bright, well-aired and the epitome of comfort; the bathroom sparkled; the garden ideal; every detail is attended to.
Yet for me the most important factor is the breakfast - it's a meal I never eat unless someone else is cooking it. Here Wendy produces a cooked breakfast with everything available. This is complimented by an array of fruits, preserves and cereals which will satisfy any palate.
If you're visiting Brockenhurst this is the only place to stay.

Room Tip: If you can get the garden room it does mean you have direct access to the garden and the summer hous...

We stayed just the one night but will we return. Rather than write a long review I will just refer you to the previous reviews and say they are all true.
The fresh fruit salad at breakfast was especially nice and refreshing.
We were offered a lift to hotel for our meal out in the evening which was nice.
Our thanks to Wendy and Paul for a superb stay.

Having just returned from a 3 day stay at Little Heathers, I am happy to reiterate all the wonderful comments that have already been made about this lovely B&B. All the positive feedback is well-deserved: Wendy and Paul are warm and welcoming hosts who do their utmost to ensure that your time with them is comfortable and enjoyable. Wendy's breakfasts are fresh, plentiful and delicious, and the food is as beautifully presented as the rooms are. The location is great - a quick drive or a pleasant 15 minute stroll into the centre of Brockenhurst, and perfectly situated for scenic walks through the surrounding forest. I cannot recommend the place highly enough - it surpasses all other hotel/B&B experiences I have had, and I hope to visit again in the near future.
