“Lovely little b&b”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 via mobile

We had a lovely stay in this little b&b. The owners were really friendly, the breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee, full English and fresh fruit. Rooms were bit on the pokey side but was fine for one night. (I'd want somewhere bigger if staying for longer!) but overall nice experience!

If you are looking for a place to rest your head on the (relatively) cheap. This is fine. But nothing more than that.

Everything is just a little...off. Janet wasn't friendly, it felt like we were a stumbling block to the 70 pounds already wired to her.
We were told breakfast is at 9 (there is no choice, no matter what your plans) and we were asked the day before if full English is alright, it was but a choice would be nice, if not expected.

The food itself is fine but missed the mark given the location and produce on the doorstep. Crammed into a tiny room with 3 and a half stranger is awkward but it was all inoffensive. You feel like eating and leaving quickly so the small talk can end.

The rooms aren't clean. They aren't grubby, it's more like attention to detail has been completely missed and the basic clean done. And there was a dreaded HAIR IN THE SHOWER. The walls are thin so keep noise to a minimum couples! The baby crying at 6.30am next door tested this for us (he must not have heard breakfast was at 9 only)

I'd stay here again. It does enough for a nights stay but you get what you pay for which is not a lot for round here.

Recently stayed at Seraya B & B for 2 nights with another couple. The rooms were clean and tidy. The rooms without an ensuite did have a a sink so that you could clean your teeth and get a drink of water when you needed. It is close to a number of Pubs for very good evening meals and is the perfect base for exploring the New Forest. The full English breakfast was a great way to start the day. Interesting to see the cattle, horses and donkeys roaming the streets. Drive carefully.

Room Tip: 3 rooms only one has ensuite. No noise issues

A wonderful B&B in a residential area. Very nice host family that made you feel welcome. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Optional breakfast and in the evening there's a nice pub nearby. We spent our first night in England here and it couldn't have been better!

Very well organised b&b, good breakfast choice and attentive to requests. Great position in Brockenhurst only 5 mins walk to some good food, and surrounded by free roaming horses and cattle. Recommend a visit to Lymington market on the Saturday .

Just spent three nights in this lovely little bandb and to be honest I don't think I will use anyone else.
Set in a peaceful part of the new forest and walking distance to shops n pubs.Rooms are great, coffee, tea, mini fridge,tv,really comfy beds(bedding n towels changed daily)complimentary mints n biscuits.
Breakfast:- unlimited juice, tea, coffee, toast, choice of cereals and a fantastic full English brekkie to start the day off.
Janet is such a nice person, me n mate gave her a nice hug before we left. Will be back, and highly recommend to others.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at the nearby balmer lawn hotel. The bb was easy to find and the owner Janet welcoming.
This was just a base to sleep and it did what it needed too- the yellow room was small but had some lovely touches, it's clear a lot of thought and care go into giving the guests an enjoyable stay.
Our only feedback would be around the ceiling fan which was noisy and the bed wasn't very comfortable- the waterproof sheet was very rustly.
Overall a good place to stay if you need a place to crash.
