Recently stayed at Daisybank for four nights. What an excellent choice for a B&B. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were welcomed by the owners who provided us with lots of information on the local area. Breakfasts were wonderful, the room amazing and very comfortable with added touches ie. coffee machine, fridge, radio. The bathroom was luxurious again added touches of soap, gel, shampoo. Daisybank Cottage is ideally situated, with easy access to the station, village with a good choice of restaurants and the new forest.

Just come back from three wonderful nights staying at Daisybank Cottage. My mom and I have been retracing family history and Daisybank was the perfect base for us to explore from. Then at the end of a busy day rest our weary heads in the most beautiful room. The hospitality was top class, the food wonderful but most of all I have to say the rooms/bathrooms were truly top notch. As a seasoned traveller the bed has to be the most comfortable I have ever slept in....the breakfast choice was excellent and so was the food when it arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and we would highly recommend Daisybank Cottage and will without hesitation stay here again.

My boyfriend and I chose Daisy Bank Cottage for a short trip away from London. Brockenhurst was perfect, very peaceful with lots of wildlife. We were given a very warm welcome as we arrived. We stayed in the Brightiff Suite, which was beautiful! A great size, with a huge bed and everything we could need for our stay. We loved the way the room was decorated, it felt so luxurious but cosy and relaxing. The bath and shower were both lovely. Daisy Bank provided a delicious vegetarian breakfast for us, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were sad to leave! It was such a treat. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you Daisy Bank!

I stayed here for a night whilst at a wedding in the local area. It's about a ten minute walk from Brockenhurst station if you take the short cut down Avenue Road.

Welcoming hosts. Very comfortable room (Solent) that is very well-equipped including a fridge and a coffee machine. There was a great shower in the small but perfectly formed bathroom. Superb "Full Irish" breakfast. Lots of information on the local area is provided. There's a huge selection of DVDs if you fancy an evening in.

Only downside was how loudly the bloke in the next door room was snoring!

We spent two and a half days at the Daisybank Cottage B&B in the exterior Burdock Suite and found it really quite lovely - the hosts, like our room, were both pleasant and charming. Being in one of the garden suites gave us a feeling of being in our own little secluded pod but with breakfast and all the amenities of the main building only a few feet away. The room was tastefully furnished and well appointed with lots of nice little touches - our only advice is that if you like to spread yourselves out then this may not be the room for you. The two of us are fairly small and contained and even we found ourselves a little cramped at times. Still this was a small price to pay for such a nice room and it was warm and quiet - nothing to worry about by being 'outside'.

There were further nice touches beyond the room itself - lots of local maps and advice on hand for walking and cycling routes, a pleasant and spacious garden and a surprisingly diverse yet high quality selection of DVDs to borrow.

In terms of location it is a little out of town, roughly a ten minute walk, but the trip is nice during the day often encountering wild horses along the way and a number of the local trails start from a point this side of town anyway. The only thing to keep in mind is if you aim to walk back at night it is a bit further than you think and the road isn't very well lit at all - though you never have to come off the main pavement.

All in all a pleasant stay and we would recommend for anyone looking to spend a couple of days in the area. If you're staying longer maybe try one of the larger indoor rooms.

Room Tip: Garden suite lovely but a little cramped if you like your space
