The Foresters Arms is in a great location in the middle of the New Forest which has many surrounding walks and some local attractions. The pub itself has two bars, one of which has a pool table and also shows much sports, this is very much is the locals bar and can get noisy at times (which can be the pub's only main criticism); the other bar is setup as the restaurant. It is good to see a selection of local historic photos on the walls.
The menu is quite extensive and has many expected classics and there is also a specials board which has a good range some not so usual for a pub. There is sometimes a delay for food as it's freshly prepared and much of it is homemade, it is nice to see good sized salads which are fresh with the meals which are generally well proportioned.
