“Lovely cottage - perfect location”
Reviewed 27 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

When we arrived at the cottage we found that the kitchen and outside bins had not been emptied and the previous guests had not cleaned the grill pan.
That aside, the cottage was perfect for us, lovely spacious garden and great location. Easy walk to the shops, restaurants and train station.
We would have no hesitation to stay at the cottage again.

“Lovely holiday in fantastic location”
Reviewed 6 August 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Brockenhurst is an ideal location to explore the New Forest. The cottage was very nicely furnished and cleaned to a high standard. It suited our needs perfectly. We went out for several walks and hired bikes for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Forest and countryside. As well as local shops, we were able to walk to a number of restaurants in the evening for dinner, which was ideal!

The staff at the booking agency were efficient and helpful had we had no problems at all.

We will definitely book again!

“Beautiful, clean, well equipped cottage in good location.”
Reviewed 28 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

The cottage was really clean, including bedding, towels, kitchen and pots and pans, which we really appreciated. It is well laid out, and more spacious than it looks from the photo. Location is excellent, as others have said, within easy walking distance of the shops, cafes and pubs (we especially like Rosie Lea's Tearoom, and the Albero Italian, both within a 10 minute stroll). There is plenty to do in the forest and on the coast. Some good streams for children to paddle in (obviously a popular local pastime), and good beaches west of Lymington. It was very hot the week we were there, and the upstairs at the cottage does get hot: a couple of fans would be nice, but that was the only extra we could think of that might be needed. More ponies than you can count, right in front of the cottage (and everywhere else!), plus cows and occasional donkeys. The cottage garden was lovely, big, with chairs and tables, and we lounged in those a fair bit or played with our little granddaughter. A lovely stay.

“Beautiful cottage and location !”
Reviewed 12 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This cottage is in a perfect location - within walking distance of Brockenhurst village, shops, restaurants and station - but with the countryside and ponies outside the gate.
Within easy driving distance from Beaulieu (Motor Museum), Exbury Gardens, Lyndhurst and Lymington.
Cottage is beautifully kept, which feels more like a home that an rental property.
Perfect !!!

“Amazing cottage, great location.”
Reviewed 2 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The cottage was excellent, very clean and very well equipped. We could easily walk to the local shops which included a butchers, greengrocers, two tea shops, sainsburys and tescos. We also walked directly into the new forest and to the local train station.
The cottage has every thing that you need including Wi-Fi , Sky tv, plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge and conservatory, a large dining room and a very well equipped kitchen. The garden was a typical country cottage with plenty of space to relax. We didn't really want to leave!

Chamberlains Cottage is everything we could have wished for. Spacious and beautifully appointed inside, plus a large garden to the side. Our young son especially enjoyed seeing the horses and cows that roam freely directly in front of the cottage. And just a five minute walk to local restaurants, pub and train station. It couldn't have been better - we will definitely return!!
