Had a fantastic lunch at Cape Wine Cellars in Brockenhurst yesterday. Fantastic selection of cheeses, amazing chutneys (had to purchase both of them!), a gorgeous full of flavour New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was served and it was very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. Makes a change to a cafe lunch and lunch with a glass of wine is always a bonus!

My wife and I had an unplanned visit to this little cheese and wine sellar after being drawn in by the personable and knowledgeable proprietor. We had two lovely wines recommended to us and a wonderful selection of different cheeses served wth delicious little biscuits, pickles and olives.

It was incredibly tasty and we popped back in the next day to purchase some of the cheese we had enjoyed. I throughly recommend a visit.

Went here this afternoon having popped out originally for a cream tea (!) It was certainly well worth it. The concept is simply based around cheese & wine; local cheese and good wine. We had a platter of cheeses - goat and cow's on separate boards, however you can have it to your taste (no blue cheese; no goats cheese; etc) accompanied with a rose (girlfriend) & Cabernet Sauvignon (me).

Both wine and cheese were fantastic and it's a great concept. The proprietor (Daan, I believe) was a thoroughly nice chap and was most helpful.

I do hope that if we visit Brockenhurst again, we can pop in for another fine afternoon of cheese & wine, however more importantly - get down there yourself and try it out!

Popped in here this afternoon- wonderful wine and a great selection of cheeses for the money we paid, supplemented by a lovely selection of olives, chutneys, bread and biscuits. Would highly recommend a visit. We'll certainly be returning on our next visit to Brockenhurst.
