after a pleasant late morning at Beaulieu taking in the variu motors on sale, we decided on a late lunch. Found the Pig by pure accident. We obviously had not booked so had to wait perhaps 20 minutes for a table. This we spent in the bar area with a glass of wine.
Service in the Restaurant was very good and our Waiter (Tom) was excellent. We were warned of a delay on my Wife's chicken dish when ordering but being in no hurry we had no problem with that. Food was very good although the "extras" I would have expected as being standard on the main courses. The bill was reasonable and our Waiter advised me that he had removed the cost of our bottle of wine "due to our having to wait for the chicken", an unexpected touch but showing good business practice. We will return again.
