We visited the café as my boyfriend and I had never stopped at it before. The food was great value for money as well as quality. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and our orders didn't take long to arrive at all.
The 2 plain scones were lovely despite not being home made, which to me was no problem, and what was nice about them was that they didn't crumble when you put anything on
them and you get a generous serving of jam and clotted cream!! Ideal to keep you going whilst out shopping and fills you up until dinner. Tea was lovely and the pot gives you around about 3 cups.
Boyfriend had a hot chocolate with cream as he doesn't drink tea or coffee and had a slice of chocolate sponge which looked extremely rich but lovely.
For 4 people the cost came to about £3 something each, which in terms of quality and service like this you can't go wrong especially in such a homely little café. Will come back again if we're in the area!
