My wife and I have just returned from a fantastic break at the farmhouse. Richard and Anne are fantastic hosts and make you feel at home whilst staying at their wonderful home. Richard and Anne have developed the farmhouse and surrounding buildings into superb accommodation for people who appreciate the more relaxed approach to staying away from the stresses of everyday life. If you like to get away and just relax, look them up in the Sawday travel books, they're highly recommended. We will definitely be paying them another visit.

We spent a week at Beara Farm in the Sparrows converted barn, stunning and absolutely beautiful location, an equally lovely accommodation. You can feel the personal touch in the barn conversion and is a lovely place to be. Surrounding area offers beaches and coastal paths and good food locally. The owners Ann and Richard are really nice and have a wealth of local information. Cannot wait to go back.....

Room Tip: B&B in farmhouse also available, Sparrows self catering lovely...

Wow! We have just returned from 4 days staying with Richard & Anne at the Beara Farmhouse.

I have to say that we were warmly welcomed by Oscar and Merlin the cats, before Anne made us a lovely pot of tea along with some home made cake. We were made so welcome.

The house is situated down a winding farm track and boasts stunning views.

We stayed in the Old Shippon, which is an converted barn. It far exceded our expectations.

We are going back as soon as we can.
