Atlantic Village has gone downhill ever since they built the ASDA. Shops are dire, the only jewellers closed this year and now they have opened a Poundland which is really going to bring in the tourists! With the soon to be built McDonalds opposite I fear it is only going to get worse. It will never be able to compete with Clarks Village or the new outlet place planned for Exeter.
Nothing is designer which is what was hoped when it was built, very little is actually discounted and in many cases it is cheaper to buy online.
When the disabled parking is full of ASDA shoppers the nearest disabled parking is too far away for those with mobility problems. The drop off area is usually taken up with a caravan advertising holiday homes, the parking is badly planned with few walkways and sometimes the disabled parking is taken up by delivery lorries and builder's vans, all issued with Atlantic Village permits!
The toilets are small and there are only 2 disabled toilets, one for each gender. If the weather is bad you get wet going to the toilets as they are built separate to the main shopping building.
Atlantis park is expensive. Very few places to get decent food.
Come on, up your game!
We do not go anymore.
