We visited The Big Sheep a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic. There were 4 adults and 2 children (3 & 5) and the adults enjoyed it as much as the kids. You can easily spend the whole day there and the staff are awesome. A definite must if you're in the area.

Hi Hells!....thanks for your cracking five star review. We are chuffed to hear all four adults and 2 children in your group had a fantastic time with us and that you thought our staff were awesome.

Lots of our visitors still want to come back for a second visit after spending a whole day with us and that is why we have a special £5 return admission which we hope you might take advantage of and come back for another visit.

Hope you are enjoying our glorious North Devon weather and take some of it back to Warwick with you.

Hi Joan, many thanks for taking the time to leave us a short and sweet five star review. Reviews like yours are great third party endorsements, which encourages potential visitors come and visit us so thanks a lot for your recommendation.

Hope you had a lovely holiday and come back and visit us again when you take another holiday away from lovely Leicester. (I would give the Leicester market five stars – it’s one of the best food markets I’ve ever been to!!)

“Fab visit!”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Brilliant day out for all the family, we enjoyed it so much we went back 2 days later! Loads to do for both my 8 year old and my little girl who is disabled. My little girl normally has a very short attention span but she enjoyed the shows and listened all the way through. Favourite activity was definitely the water balloons!
Would definitely return x

Hello Pudding, thanks a million for your five star review. It's always great to read when visitors come back for a second visit in the same week and we hope you took advantage of our special £5 return admission.

We have specifically designed our 11 EWEnique show so they appeal to adults and children and it’s great to hear that your little girl enjoyed them and managed to listen all the way through, despite having a short attention span.

Our splash zone is VERY popular at the moment with all this glorious weather we are having and I hope you all had a wonderful, wet and wild time battling it out with the water balloons – I bet you ended up much wetter that your children?

Great to hear you will be returning for another visit and we look forward to welcoming you back for another fun-filled day.

“Over priced and under whelmed”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

Went with a big group of mixed ages and we were al disappointed. Age range 0 to 65, and while there we good things that each person enjoyed for nearly £13 a person these were far to few.

We enjoyed the duck trials, sheep dog demonstration, and the brewing talk but the rest was very disappointing. Rides were only open at certain times of the day and for onky short periods, giving the day a very disjointed feel and there just wasn't enough to keep everyone entertained all day.

Overall very disappointing start to our holiday

Many thanks for your review, and thank you for visiting.

We run a series of shows and events throughout the day for the broad range of age groups who come to visit - lamb feeding shows, duck trial and baby animals for the smaller children to the shearing, sheep show and beer experience show for the adults. We are continually building new attractions and facilities and many of our customers come back from a second or third visit during the same week so that they can experience what we have on offer.

On the day you came to The BIG Sheep our rides were open throughout the day for 20 minute intervals as you visited during term time but all our rides are now opened all day during our peak period to cater for the increase in visitor numbers. I understand that it can be difficult to fit them in around the shows you want to want, the indoor playground the animal handling, the outdoor combat zone and other attractions a mixed group want to do and we will take your comments on board to see how we can improve. I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday and we hope to see you back in North Devon sometime soon.

“Big sheep = Big smiles”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

We had a fantastic time here today. We are a family of 4 our 2 children are aged 3 and 7 and we all absolutely loved it. The staff are absolutely fantastic, very friendly, funny, helpful and knowledgable. It's a fantastic place that has lots to do, it's educational and fun, it's a little rustic around the edges but I think this adds to the character of the place. Children are able to have hands on experience with the animals which they love. The shops are a little expensive but this is to be expected and there are £1 fees for pony rides and tractor rides. There's a fab indoor play area which is great for when the weather is not so great. Overall a fab day out.

Hello Peggy, Many thanks for your lovely five star review. I love your equation that the BIG Sheep = BIG Smiles.

The BIG Sheep is such a fun place to work as well as to visit and we all love what we do here, particularly take the very best care of customers to ensure they have a great experience with us and we are delighted we managed to give you and your family a fab day out.

I have noted your comments about the nominal £1 cost for a couple of our rides. At the BIG Sheep we operate a fair pricing policy and admission includes Free access to all shows and attractions and play areas. Some rides do carry a nominal cost as they cannot be used by all our visitors and an inclusive price would unfairly increase entry costs.

Hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday in Fab-EWE-Lous North Devon!
