The Bell Hotel Driffield is quaint with lost of antiques around the Hotel to keep your interest

I stayed in room 9 a large room, the views from the window was across to the other side of the hotel . The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The decor of the room was a in keeping with the hotel all world charm .

The Hotel needs some tender loving care and a spot of fresh paint in areas but don't let this put you off a well run hotel.

Breakfast was wholesome and very enjoyable . I had a bar meal which i was disappointed with . I had skin on Battered Fish

The staff were attentive and very cherry . I would recommend the hotel . I will probably visit once more.

The hotel had free Wifi

Power cut didn't help me finish a presentation but this was no fault of the hotel.

Just come back from a folk music weekend here, it was great. The bedroom was lovely, with charming features. Food was great, and well priced. Staff were helpful and efficient despite it being really busy at times. Lovely homely atmosphere.

We stayed here for an event so we did spend along time in the place.
There are several rooms, the first room we got allocated was very fancy with a spiral stair case over two levels but not really suitable for ourselves. The next room was smaller but lovely although the sunken bath could have been a little challenging. You could request a paper to be delivered by filling in a quirky chalk board.
The breakfast was al the cereals as well as a very good selection of main courses which were of good quality and done to order. We could not resist the full English but I noticed the egg with soldiers was brilliantly presented. Their signature involves eggy bread and black pudding (in a combination which sounds like my heaven).
The staff was the thing that made this hotel. Everyone was pleasant and helpful despite their long hours. Service was always with a smile be it first thing on a morning or last thing at night.
The car park was small.
We used a number of the rooms with their famous selection of whiskeys and real ale. The meals were really good value and delicious. Again even when very busy the service was great. There was only one episode when the bar was full but only one member of staff present. This may have been more a planning issue with the management. This central hotel has also tapped in to local business by offering a morning coffee and scone.
There is a spa on site too.

This place is charming full of old things with lots of history. What an amazing weekend this has been stayed for two nights and did not leave the hotel once the food was amazing two for twelve on the Friday night it was delicious pie full of meat and locally sourced sausages excellent value. And on sat evening although the staff were busy they looked after us so well and another amazing meal the duck was to die for and very reasonably priced. Booking last minute, I wanted a town centre hotel. This is very much in the centre of town. Car Parking is tricky with few spaces and difficult driving when you are finally in the car park. You are warned that reception is 45 yards from the parking. Your walk to the reception is through a series of covered courtyards with interesting collectables displayed everywhere. The welcome is very friendly and the whole place is full of old world charm, you almost feel that you have stepped back in time. The room I had was very spacious with lots of chintz and had all the required amenities. Once I worked out how to turn on the radiators the room warmed up quickly. To say that I was in a town centre albeit midweek the room was quiet and I slept well. Didn't venture into any one of the bars because its bingo night.
Breakfast was great, lots of the usual, cooked vey well.
A great place for one night, its just a bit old with a nice (if you like that sort of thing-and I do) kind of antique feel about the place. You even get a hand written receipt.

Stayed in Room 21 on 14th February for 2 nights. Large room at front of hotel so there was some noise from late revellers on Saturday night but not too bad. We ate in the hotel both evenings and although the dinners were not the best we have ever had there was nothing to complain about. Breakfasts were great: a very good selection. Well stocked bar selling beers, wines and spirits at reasonable prices. What makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They looked after us very well and went about their tasks with a smile. Although difficult to single any out for specific recognition both Amy and Belle were a joy.
