This pubs food is amazing! Its not the biggest pub or the most modern looking decorative pub but you can't beat the food. The prices are very good and plenty of choice on the menu. Myself and husband didn't want a big meal so just ordered a baguette which came with chips and salad. We couldn't believe our eyes as we watched meal after meal come out the kitchen.
Our 'light lunch' was huge, the baguettes were overflowing with filling (I had Cajun chicken with red onion & hubby had tuna melt) salad was fresh & everything was cooked to order. Our plates were full, couldn't eat it all & cost £4:95 each. Worth every penny.
We saw other meals come out which all looked amazing, from the breakfast to stew & dumplings to pie, mash & veg with extra gravy in a gravy boat. All of these meals were £5 or under, fantastic value. We saw a mixed grill on the menu which I can only imagine how huge that would be, it cost £14:99 but I bet it would be a challenge to complete.
If your ever in Driffield & your hungry you must visit this pub. The beer is also very good. We can't wait to go back!
