Number 2 loved our time here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend , visited most of the surrounding area also thoroughly enjoyed the Dacre Arms food and would return. The lodge was above expectation and extremely clean. Included little extras like t towel, dish cloth and loo roll.

Me my partner and our 8 month old daughter stayed hear from Monday 17 march to Friday 21 march this was our first time hear and loved it that much we booked again whilst there for my 30th in October, We stayed in lodge 4 which was on the small pond.
The lodge was lovely and clean could not fault it, has everything you need only thing I'd say is take your own towels as we did not as they provide them but only one each which is not enough for a 5 day stay.
On the seconded night we had to complain to reception due to the lodge next to us had 3 lads and 2 lasses who was in the hot tub making loads noise after 11pm and woke our daughter but Dacre park sorted it out for us but was not till the next day. And after this we got funny looks from them as they new we had complained about them.
But we have not been put off and are going back there in October as it was not down to the park just bad luck they was next to us.
I'd recommend Dacre inn pub the food there is out of this world and a good price

Where do we start??? An absolutley great, relaxing, fun stay! Stayed here friday to monday and it isn't long enough, so sad to have left. The area is quiet and peaceful, the hot tub is amazing (and checked every morning so im not sure what the previous reviewer was moaning about) The staff were all so helpful, funny and warm and we were made to feel so welcome. The clubhouse near to the site made a great change to other cabins we've been to and the drinks are incredibly cheap. The cabins have everything you need for your stay from a dishwasher to a robe. Everything was so clean, tidy and well furnished. If we are going to get super picky, some darker curtains in the bedroom and better lighting for walking into the village would have been a bonus. Can't wait to return.

we stayed in the same lodge as we did 2 years ago. We had a great family time then and we had a great time again. we stayed from Fri 28th Feb for the weekend for my Birthday with family. The lodge was out of this world right on the lake. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was very clean. The location of the site is also great for getting around. Bring on our 3rd visit.

we stayed at Dacre Lakeside Park from Monday 17th February until Friday the 21st, from check in to check out we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, we were given lodge 1 on the smaller pond and told we would like it there, and that its a lovely spot, well they were right ! we were as near as you could be to the dual carriageway that runs near the park but we were not disturbed by the road noise at all, in fact we slept like logs and heard more noise from the gas boiler that is housed in a cupboard by the door and was just on the other side of our bedroom wall, the heating was on when we arrived and the hot tub was lovely and hot, all looked very cosy from the moment we stepped through the door.
our lodge had 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin, both had ensuite bathrooms, the double had a large shower unit in the ensuite, the twin had a bath, the whole lodge is furnished to a very high standard, however we did find there was no shaving point in either bathroom, also no little shelves near the sink or the shower unit which meant you had your soap/sponge etc all on the back of the sink and in the shower had to put your items on the shower floor, my husband has recently had a hip replacement and finds it hard to bend so this was a bit of a nuisance, but for this we would have found the lodge to be perfect. our lodge was one that allowed pets and so we took our 2 dogs with us, being the last lodge on the road it meant it was very safe for them, we didn't have to worry when they ran excitedly out of the door as no cars were passing us, we did notice some of the lodges had cars that passed by very close to their decking meaning they would have traffic noise and less privacy in their hot tub, we were very private in our lodge.
we had forgotten our swimsuits and only realised this 20 minutes before we arrived, the staff gave us directions to the retail outlet at Kingswood, about 25 minutes drive away, lots of shops there including an Asda for our food and a sport shop for our swimsuits, by 7:30 we were back at the lodge and in the tub, the tub is checked every morning and is always nice and hot and ready to use, we used it mainly on a night but also went in once mid morning, lovely and warm in there while it was cold and windy outside, just wish it had snowed, we would have loved that. we did a few walks nearby with our dogs, including along a canal near Leven and on Hornsea beach. there is a lovely pub called the Black Swan in Brandesburton, with a very friendly landlady who welcomes dogs, we didn't eat there but heard the food was very good, we will find out next time, there WILL be a next time as we plan to go back. if you need any advice for trips out or anything else ask at reception they are very helpful, our welcome booklet asked we didn't let the dogs in the bedrooms or onto the furniture, we followed this advice but could not guarantee they wouldn't go on the furniture when we were in bed so we mentioned this at reception and they gave us some sheets to put down on the leather sofa on a night, our 2 Dalmatians are year round shedders so this was a big help. the club house wasn't open as we were there out of season but I would expect the service to be just as good even when they are a lot busier. they are building a pizzeria at the moment which will have views of the large lake, we look forward to eating there when its completed. all in all we had a lovely few days there. we have come home lovely and chilled and know we will have a repeat visit. loved it and would definitely recommend Dacre Lakeside Park.

Room Tip: if you plan on doing any fishing ask for a lodge on the larger lake as we were told the smaller one...

We booked a Bullrush log cabin for Valentines weekend. After reading reviews from other guests on here we were looking forward to our visit very much.

When we arrived we checked in at reception which had a little bar and seating area. We had to wait until 4pm for our keys but we did arrive 30 minutes earlier than the 4pm check in.

We got the keys and were shown directions to our cabin. They are set right back and it's so quiet and peaceful. We stayed in number 1 which is on the watersedge of the pond. There is 8 cabins around the fairly large pond and privacy is quite good. Not being overlooked by others directly.

The log cabin was amazing. Really high spec design and furnishings. Fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher. Large flat screen tv on the wall. Double and twin bedroom both with bathrooms which are really smart. One has double shower and other double bath. Bed so comfortable. Very large verandah with LED lighting and great hot tub. So relaxing.

We spent a couple of hours in Bridlington during our stay and also Hornsea.

There is nothing about this log cabin we could find fault with. Highly recommended for a weekend away either as a couple or with friends. Very relaxing and peaceful. Comfortable lodge with everything you need. We will be back.

Room Tip: Get a lodge on the lake or watersedge.
