Well worth a visit, it always amazes me how the craftsmen from nearly a thousand years ago were able to build monuments like this.

From the moment you set your foot through the door you are greeted by smiling staff and volunteers.
Once inside there is lots to look at and a fantasic tour available to go one. Good old building with a very interesting history! :)

The Minster is well worth a visit. An Awe inspiring feat of engineering.

There is a roof tour which I cannot recommend highly enough. The history and views within the roof are well worth the token fee and the 113 steps up. The tours are twice a day between May and October, but call ahead to confirm. Wear sturdy shoes and take your camera!
