We arrived to a very warm welcome on Saturday teatime. The staff were very friendly and helpful could not do enough. The rooms were fantastic and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and would recommend to anybody, we will be returning.

Visited this lovely little venue in Sunday for Mothers Day and had a great time! The roast beef was melt in the mouth and delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. I highly recommend to all!! The only disappointment was the restaurant was not busier!! :)

I visit Beverley for work on a yearly basis and have always stayed here. There is always a warm welcome from the moment I arrive and nothing is too much trouble throughtout my stay. The rooms are very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows, blankets and towels, I've never needed to ask for extra of anything. The food is amazing, I always have an evening meal and have never been disappointed. They have access to the rooms seperate from the bar & restaurant which allowed me to come and go as much as I wanted to without being tied to opening hours. I don't personally go for them but the town centre shops and sights are within walking distance of the hotel. An all round pleasant stay everytime and I'll be re-booking when I'm next due in Beverley

I have stayed several times at this excellent family run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and the position is first class for both Beverley and the rest of the East Riding. Food is first class and with 2 mins walk to the Treasure House, Beverley Minister and M & S even closer it's ideal for me. Will be going back in a few weeks time.

We stayed at the Tudor Rose hotel on the night of the huge snow storm before the huge snow thaw (25th Jan). As they are a hotel, with hotel facilities, and not a guest house we thought it would be a nice place to stay for a weekend break. We were told that they did food till 8.00pm which we thought somewhat early, but as they have good ratings on Trip Advisor, we thought we’d take a chance. However, on arrival we enquired about their restaurant but they clearly didn’t want to cook and we were actively encouraged to eat out as they enthused about other eateries in the area. If we had wanted to stay at a guest house then we could have done so for a lot less than £85.00 B&B. For somewhere costing that amount of money you would expect, as advertised, bar and restaurant facilities.
Our room was very small and somewhat cramped. There were only enough sockets for either the TV or the kettle or the heater (which was needed as it was a cold night). We ended up having to pull the bed out so we could use one of the plugs under the headboard.
It’s a shame as the couple that run the hotel (/guesthouse) were lovely, but we had to go out in the evening in horrible weather when all we wanted was a nice relaxing home cooked comfy warm meal. We asked for a drink at the bar, but all the beers (2 bitters and a Guinness) were “off” and my husband had to drink lager.
Breakfast (which was served in the beautifully set up, unused restaurant) was good but by then the weekend felt somewhat spoiled. We decided to leave after breakfast, so only stayed the one night.

Initially a friendly warm welcome
My work colleague and i stayed there for two weeks mid January and and we were placed on the second floor. The room was of average size and decor but due to the weather was Absolutely Freezing. We noticed on the first night the heating was going off and staying off all night ?! When we questioned the owner she said she was 'boiling' so she turned it off. This was the trend through the week and it became a bit of a joke, especially when we were told to 'wear another jumper'.On the second night we came in we could hardly see because of the smoke off the coal fire in their accommodation on ground floor which traveled right through the hotel and into our rooms. This left a terrible smokey smell on all our belongings which was still present when we got home.
The food was ok but of little choice.
