Kavanagh' is a traditional tea room/ cafe situated on the main pedestrianised street in Beverley. The breakfast / lunch menu delivers quality produce and is reasonably priced. There is also a good range of cakes available to have with morning coffee or afternoon tea !! Friendly efficient staff. Reasonable prices.

There are lots of tea rooms in Beverley and this is one of our favourites with generous pots of tea friendly staff and a lovely selection of cake

We went to Beverley for the day shopping and deceided to have our lunch at kavanahs the ploughmans lunch was very good the staff are very nice, it is a small restaurant good for couples who want a nice lunch or just a drink and a slice of cake
we both had date and walnut cake which was excellent.it is not large enough for bus or coach parties.

Not from the area but found this hidden gem a few visits ago and now always opt to visit here for breakfast rather than have the hotel buffet! Service is always first rate and food is lovely!! Still yet to try the cakes but they always look amazing!!

The atmosphere here is good and the staff are friendly. The cakes look great and the tea is good. But why provide sub standard "no name" jam (actually jelly) in a sachet when serving an excellent scone with real clotted cream? Surely, for 20p more some Baxter's or Tiptree jam would be much better?
