“Sad Decline 2 !”
Reviewed 1 April 2014

Visited lunchtime recently having been may times before when always very good. Previous visit was very average but did not write a review as thought it may be an off day. However on recent visit, service was as poor . Food very average (had a reduced menu) and even then a couple of things where off !! On previous visit the state of the gents toilet was not very nice, seat hanging off, toilet paper on the floor etc. This visit exactly the same !!! Very off putting ! Don't think I will be going again . Shame !

“Great find”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

The problem with having favourite places to eat is that you often miss out on other gems. In which case, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise that my usual go-to Beverley eatery was busy, as it meant I got to try Panizzi. Two sandwiches and two soft drinks came to £16 which, while not 'cheap', certainly wasn't exorbitant, especially given the quality of the food and the service, which were tasty and faultless respectively. Nothing breathtaking in the presentation but it was good food done well. The venue itself is a lot larger than it looks, while downstairs gives the opportunity for people watching/gazing out of the window, the upstairs provides a little more privacy, away from the bustling kitchen area. Lots of choice (I will be back to try a tapas-y platter) and a very tempting specials board. Definitely one to try if you're hankering for a taste of the Med. Very pleased to have discovered it.

“Great for a coffee or a glass of wine.”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

Panizzi offers good wines and delicious food.
The atmosphere is always relaxed and pleasant. Upstairs has a traditional old world feel adding to the enjoyable ambiance.
The food menu is small but what they offer is very fresh and always tasty. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

“Lovely place for lunch”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

A great place to come for lunch! The food was tasty, plentiful and reasonably-priced. Having walked past the kitchen a couple times, the food is obviously freshly-prepared. Interesting wine list, too. The staff were friendly and attentive.

“Another good find”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

As someone who hates to go into big chain coffee shops this is a really nice find, we had afternoon drinks and cakes here and the quality is good and the ambience is just right, there is plenty of seating on two floors and quite private.

Worth recommending
