Yes, the Westwood is as beautiful and unspoilt as people are saying, and as I get older I appreciate it more and more. There are very few places like this, a pastureland so close to the town and kept as it is for hundreds of years. At this time of year, with the buttercups out and the cows grazing, it is probably looking at its best. I felt privileged to be able to go to such a lovely place on the doorstep. If they can do something about the commuters parking on the land (wrongly) then the Westwood will be preserved as it is for future generations to enjoy.
