The White Cottage near Aboyne is a regular stop for lunch or dinner with freinds, family or for business reasons.
John, the sole owner is a "weel kent" face from previous well known restaurants, inns and hotels and knowns his trade well.
The welcome is always very professional, freindly, chatty but not invasive, you can sit outside in the patio if weather permits.
The choice of wine and champagne is extensive and the food is to John's usual very high standard. All food is locally sourced and spot on. Seafood, when in season, is local and not to be missed.
For those on the hoof all the time and wishing to get home fast to the wood stove or the patio, there is a discrete service available whereby John can have your food "to go" when you go to pick it up. Another advantage is, you can take all the credit for preparing and cooking the meal!
