Our stay was a birthday gift to my husband from our good friends who booked the four of us in for two nights. We have stayed in Weymouth several times over the years and have no hesitation in saying this is the best B+B in the town with the bonus of being just a few minutes from the prom. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our double room (no 3) was far more luxurious than we had anticipated. The bathroom was excellent with a good power shower and lovely big, fluffy towels and good quality toiletries. The residents' lounge was welcoming, modern yet comfortable, with a very reasonably priced honesty bar and breakfast was delicious. Between us we probably tried the entire menu.
Roger was very welcoming and we will definitely be coming back.

Myself and my partner stayed here for a birthday getaway, (my 40th). The hotel was booked by my sister as a treat....and wow did she hit a gem.

On arrival....We were greeted by Roger and introduced to Debbie his partner also...As first impressions go and in general they both remind you of your favourite aunty and uncle that buy you the best present!...ha.. They make you feel like you have know them for ages.

Roger showed us around...There is a large and comfortable looking lounge (alas we didnt use it as we got in late, but next time im sure we will) that has a fridge..a big one!...and many many other bottles/drinks/snacks to choose from, all of which are VERY reasonably priced and all used via an honesty pad which is nice to see, four sofas sky tv, this really is a room to chill out in.

The breakfast lounge is nice and cosy with about 8 tables....close enough for character, but far enough away to have a conversation without bothering anyone. And now the breakfast itself....wow...Choice of pretty much everything you can think of and the chance if you want to totally give yourself over to glutony lol. All of which was presented beautifully and plentyful, after a heavy nights drinking the large jugs of orange/grapefruit/mango juice were MOST welcome.

The room itself was bright very clean and felt like home without actually being home if that makes sence...The decor has been done very tastfully also, they have managed the holy grail for me personally which is a shower that actually gets hot and cold when i tell it too!....again the shower room and the toilet very clean and fresh, just a nice place to spend time and chill out.
Our bed had those firm but sink your head into pillows that are a little bit chilly and just puts a smile on your face when you lay down (i did think about taking one home with me...hehe) the matress was firm but very comfortable.....perfect for me as i have a dodgy back, it really was a fantastic sleep.

Price...i didnt pay for the room personally as it was a treat but i know how much it was and im more than happy to pay this again when we revisit...the price looks the going rate for the area...oh they have a no under 13 policy, or maybe 14 ....either way another nice point. We personally have two young children but sometimes you just need a little break away and this place really fits the bill knowing there wont be any 'cheeky monkeys' running amock.

The beach really is a 2/3 min bimble...parking could be an issue in peak season i reckon but there is enough room for a car per room if you squeeze them in i would of thought....there is room by the side of the property if needed by the looks of it.

Will we be going back...HELL yes, we are looking forward to it already.... :).

Room tip: We stayed in the delux room7....its very very nice....and worth the walk up the stairs.

Hello again.

We are "over the moon" with your review so we must thank you very much. We do try our best to give our guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay and are so pleased when we hear such great feedback. The parking is a little limited, but, will accommodate all of our guests vehicles with only a small amount of management from us. This is a bonus as there is so little parking in Weymouth. Thankyou again and we look forward to your next stay with us, just give us a call.

kind regards

My wife and I stayed for one night over the weekend at the Ashmira in Weymouth, we were attending my sisters wedding so wanted to book in early - no problem we were informed, let us know what time and we will be there to greet you. When we arrived the owner Roger greeted us and showed us around the accommodation, the bedroom was clean as were the bathroom, there was also a lounge with sky TV and a help yourself bar with an honesty pad, which was very reasonable £1.60 for a glass of wine. The location is 2 minutes from the seafront & Green hill. Breakfast was very good, a great selection of yoghurts, cereals, Danish pastries and a full choice of cooked. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent B&B for a perfect place to go for a weekend away & to the coast. Excellent host & breakfast. Comfortable rooms with en suite. Walking distant to beach and shops. Only a 20 minute drive to Monkey World & Tank Museum.

We booked a weekend away and had never been to Weymouth before. On arrival, when greeted we were informed of things to do, where to eat and how to get there which was very helpful.

Our room was lovely with very good facilities and a brilliant shower. It was lovely and peaceful throughout the guesthouse so was very relaxing.

We ate at a lovely Italian restaurant called Enzo (recommended by the owner of the guesthouse) the food was delicious and the service was brilliant.

The guesthouse had lots of food and drink available and breakfast was lovely. Lots of variety and a lovely full English before checking out! The owner was very friendly and we will definitely be staying again.
