“1st class guest house in Weymouth”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

We have just spent seven glorious nights with the most charming hosts, Jade and Justin. Their special guest house is a real gem hidden amongst a terrace of other residences. From the moment we arrived we were treated as long lost friends; their welcome and on going care could not have been bettered. And what about the guest house? Beautifully decorated and furnished; comfortable beds with smart en suite facilities and plenty of tea, coffee etc. in the room. This is all before I mention the excellent breakfast menu; all dishes cooked to order and served at your table piping hot. If you are going to Weymouth don't look anywhere else as St Johns is clearly the best value for money in a highly competitive sector.

Just got back today after spending 3 nights at St Johns Guesthouse. I instantly wanted to add a review.
I genuinely could not find fault with anything here, our rooms were really clean and attention to detail shone through. Location was great a lot quieter end of the promenade but not too far from the beach. Breakfast was superb as we're the owners, Justin and Jade were fantastic and were very accommodating to our needs, Thankyou both for a truly enjoyable stay

Just back from a couple of days down in Weymouth , such a lovely welcome with all info needed for our stay . The room double on the ground floor was spotless I thought it had just been decorated with the au-suite in the same condition . Tea and coffee making facility's , a fan was in the room and very welcome with it being so hot for our few days stay, bed comfortable and even with the heat we both slept very well. Now as an ex chef I,m sometimes hard to please and breakfast was very good I couldn't have done better . Fruit juice , ceriael , fruit , and a very good choice of hot choices all very well cooked and presented. This is a very friendly and well run guesthouse and we had a lovely stay . Thank you , we will be back

My boyfriend and I decided to come to Weymouth for our holiday, so after finding this great B&B and at a good price we decided to stay at St Johns for 3 nights.

We found the B&B really easily and the car park that was located behind where we also met the handyman who kindly took our luggage in for us as we were early to check in so could go off and loo around.
When we came in to check in we were met by such welcoming from both Justin and Jade and was very informative of places that were good to eat in.

Our room was located on the first floor, which was VERY clean and a good size so you couldn`t ask for more.
We was only a 5/10 minute walk from the beach and food places and 15 minute walk to the harbor.

In the morning we had a lovely breakfast which would consisted of choosing between cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast, cooked breakfast or anything hot on toast.

We truly had a great holiday and staying here really contributed to a big part of it so Thank You Justin and Jade

We stayed here for my birthday weekend and after weeks of looking it was the best hotel by far, we found on the Internet! It was lovely when we got there, we was running late for check in, but when we phoned, Jade was really helpful and said it wasn't a problem! Room was beautiful, modern and clean! Breakfast was amazing, toast was beautiful! Loved the boutique/vintage decor throughout! And parking and the location was amazing! There was no noise from other rooms or outside, nice big windows you could open wide. The shower was a really great powerful shower! It was an excellent stay, thank you Jade & Justin!

Was apprehensive about staying in a guest house as we never have before, but after a glowing recommendation and a great stay was definatley glad we stayed at St Johns. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean - immaculate, breakfast was fantastic and was made to feel very welcome by the owners. We will definatley stay again on our next trip to Weymouth.

Booked our weekend trip to Weymouth as a treat to myself on my birthday. Felt I definitely chose the right B&B to stay at. Great quiet location set just back from Weymouth's main seafront road, literally by the seaside. I loved our evening walks we took along the the stony beach to the left. Rooms were clean and homely, our bed was comfy (slept like a log after all our activities in the fresh air) and felt full to bursting after our delicious breakfasts in the morning. One thing hubby agreed on was how lucky we were with the guesthouse having private parking, as relatives of ours had stayed at one of the seafront hotels last year and hadn't been able to find parking very easily. All in all, I would highly recommend. Very friendly couple and beautifully clean B&B.
