I would best describe this place as a children's version of a theme park with large aquariums. There are also gimicky toss the ball to win a teddy bear which in my humble opinion does not fit with a sea life centre. Do what you can to track down offers for reduced entrance prices as it will cost you a fortune to get in. I appreciate that the creatures need looking after, but the prices are very steep for what you get inside. You also have to pay for car parking. Included in your entrance price is a trip up the sea life tower which is located at the other end of Weymouth. Yes it's a good view but you can get a mug better view from the excellent Nothe Fort, which you'll see as you go up the tower. There is a small 'train' which can take you down to the tower however it will cost you a lot of money. You can only buy one way tickets and is a rip off. Top tip take your car and park in the ferry Port car park which if you park for the duration of the tower experience, 15 minutes, you can park for £1...bargain.
It's definitely worth taking a picnic, so you don't get caught out at the expensive on site cafe.
I don't think we'll go back
