The site is about 10 minutes drive from Weymouth. The site itself is on the side of a hill and is close to the South West Coast Path. There are views over Portland and Chesil Beach. There is no swimming pool on site which is a bit of a shame.
There is a pub on site called The Fat Badger with good food but a bit on the expensive side. There are cheaper and equally good restaurants in the town such as the Criterion Restaurant on the Esplanade, which we visited more than once.
The caravan is situated about half way up the site within easy reach of the car park. it has views over the sea and Chesil Beach. There is a grassed area adjacent to the caravan suitable for ball games, although it is not flat.
The caravan is comfortable, spacious and well appointed, with a decent sized kitchen. The beds are nice and comfortable. There is a patio area outside with a table and eight chairs, which is a great place to enjoy breakfast on a sunny morning.
The caravan slept 8 adults for a bank holiday weekend without too much bother at all. All the fittings are really good quality, the caravan was clean, the location is good and Dawn was great.
The only thing to be aware of, the beds are small. The double bed is really just a large single, so be prepared to get cosy if there are lots of you!
