Very expensive ‘attraction’. Price for senior entrance is £8.25 each. A garden with big ponds. Lilies were pretty, but even walking slowly and taking photographs, we were round in less than half an hour. The ‘nursery’ sells water lilies and was quite scruffy and looked neglected. Didn’t risk having tea in the cafe!

It's hard to believe that such a delightful garden is to be found sandwiched between Weymouth and Chickerell. Once you are immersed within the landscape it's easy to forget that you are so close to a major seaside town. The water gardens are simply stunning and you need to wander around them slowly to savour the planting and appreciate the vistas. Apart from the resident ducks there's plenty of wildlife around you from the fish in the ponds to the dragonflies skimming overhead. At one point a marsh harrier went over, no doubt on it's way to nearby Radipole Lake.

Over priced for such a small garden. If my son hadn't been photographing we would have walked round very quickly. Lillies were beautiful and it was peaceful. Some ponds were murky and messy. Café overpriced and young girl serving was extremely unhelpful and miserable.

Stunning array of water lilies to see, and the Japanese bridge makes this a far cheaper visit than it would cost to see the original, in Giverny! Beautiful gardens, lovely walks (for the able bodied, although there are limitations on many of the paths and the bridge for wheelchair users, although these are indicated on a map). Café serves delicious food, and staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. :-)

Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the number of different ponds and water lilies there were here. Not at all crowded and would have liked to have sat on one of the numerous benches around for a while as it was so tranquil and pretty but didn't have sufficient time. A little over priced tho to my mind.
