A perfect place to stay. Location close to the beach, lovely views. Our room was comfortable and provided us with all that we needed. We enjoyed our breakfast in the bright and cheerful dining room. Cannot fault this hotel - we will be back.

The decor is a bit quirky but we loved it owner and staff were great.. Can't wait to get back there ...., in fact we are in 3 weeks time ..
You need to get down there and try it out for yourself
Such a great location with beach and harbour views close to some great pubs and restaurants also free parking close by..
Can't really fault it..

Last year I visited the Roundhouse and said I'd be back. Well this week I was back and found the hotel to be just as wonderful as it was last year. This time I was right at the top in a large room overlooking both the bay on one side and harbour on the other.
The bed was super comfortable, the decor, quirky and interesting and all needs were well provided for.
The hotel owner has a dedicated and professional manner is is clearly committed to making everybody;s stay enjoyable.
This is definitely a hotel to return to again and again and I am sure I will be doing just that!

Room Tip: Try the top floor for a fantastic view but only if you're fit to climb stairs.

The Roundhouse is one of those places where you just keep saying "oh that's lovely, oh that's nice!" This was our second stay and this time we just overnighted on our way to Cornwall. Top tip - this is a half way point and the drive from Weymouth to Bude cross-country is beautiful. The owner, Keith, has created a hotel that just goes that extra bit further to make the guests' stay a good one (Tommy Jacks, Bude, take note!). We'll definitely be going back. And Weymouth has so much going for it as well but that another whole review right there.

We found the Roundhouse on line, read reviews & booked a luxury double room for 2 nights. The process was simplicity & even offered 10% discount with code!
The location is ideal for exploring Weymouth, parking is available within couple of mins walk to the Pavillion car park. I have noticed on other reviews about parking permits being offered?
The room - number 4 - is tastefully decorated in a modern style, with everything you could need - we are sure that if anything else were needed then Keith would be able to provide!
The cooked breakfast if desired is good value for money & extremely tasty - scrambled egg cooked to perfection!
For our next stay in Weymouth we would certainly stay here but probably room 2 next time with 2 bay windows.
Thank you all for making our stay memorable.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review for the Roundhouse. I was very glad to read how much you enjoyed your stay and it's always good to meet a fellow scrambled egg aficionado!
The Roundhouse does have a small number of parking permits. However, as we are only allowed three for the whole hotel these are on a first come, first served basis and I'm afraid they must have all been out during your stay.

Weymouth is our favourite destination and the roundhouse hotel didn't let us down. The room was very comfortable, wonderfully decorated with it's quirky style and much more than we expected. The facilities within the room and the attention to detail were an absolute delight we really couldn't have asked for anything more, but to be honest if we had we're sure they would have found a way to deliver that too. Wonderfully welcoming and rest assured we are looking at how and when we can return. Please don't change a thing.
Tips - parking permit was very handy.
Ground floor was excellent for those with less mobility, once you've made it to the front door of course but that was doable too. Wonderful views, not overlooked, the perfect place to watch the world go by and enjoy.
The breakfast was plentiful without the optional extras, but we would thoroughly recommend you try the cooked options, you can tell the owner used to be a chef, excellent presentation and fab to eat.

The room we stayed in was at the front on the ground floor, which was lovely the view from the room was really lovely especially at night when it's all lit up. Sadly the weather let us down a little but there is still loads to do... The breakfast was really nice but you have to pay extra for full English and although it was very nice I do think it should be included in the price. The only other thing was there was no hair dryer in the room , however the room was very nice and spacious with 2 big comfy arm chairs in the bay window overlooking the bay. I would definitely go back to the roundhouse

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review for the Roundhouse. I was very pleased to read how much you enjoyed your stay and I hope that we will be seeing you again in the future. The decision not to include a cooked breakfast was not one that was taken lightly, but was the result of research, consultation with guests and a basis of 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. I have noticed over the years that when a cooked breakfast is included in the price of a hotel stay, the amount of food wastage is shocking. Many guests – not all, but many – have the breakfast because it is included in the price rather than because they actually want it. This way, I can provide a good Continental breakfast – Local tea, freshly ground coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice rather than from concentrate, freshly prepared fruit cups, choice of 5 cereals, fruit & plain yoghurts, bakery breads & freshly baked croissants with home-made preserves as well as the option of freshly made porridge – and I can also offer a wide range of cooked breakfasts (8 different choices, not including combinations) using local produce - hand reared pork, free range eggs, fish from Weymouth fishing boats – and organically grown tomatoes and mushrooms, as well as home-made hash browns - knowing that everything ordered will be eaten.
