“First class B&B”
Reviewed 24 March 2014 via mobile

Stayed for two nights last week in the Dorchester Room. This is a very large room with a large spotlessly clean bathroom with a large separate shower. Tea and a cake on arrival, fantastic cooked breakfast chosen from a list of alternatives that should suit all tastes.
Just across the road from the quiet end of Weymouth beach, 15 to 20 minute walk into town.
This is a very very good B&B with wonderful hosts and I can thoroughly recommend it.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The Chesil Room has a view of the sea, and is tastefully decorated. We had a very warm welcome, and Barbara provided us with a map of the town, with eateries and interesting places marked for us. It's a lovely stroll from he along to the old harbour area.
We had everything we needed in the room, plenty of hangers, spare blanket, a lovely selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate.
The full English breakfast, which my husband had, was perfectly cooked, as we're my poached eggs.
This is how all B&B's should be.

Room Tip: Chesil has a view of the sea, from the smaller window. It has a shower room, which is fine For a sh...

This is a top class establishment which is friendly and spotless with superbly presented food. If you visit Weymouth, don't stay anywhere else. Graham and Barbara have the blueprint as to how to run a B & B. There is nothing you can fault.

Room Tip: Book the Dorchester if you can. Perfect large bathroom., Sea view

This B & B is a real find. It's a 10 minute walk along the Esplanade from the middle of the town, but this is to its advantage as it was quiet in the evening, yet is only 1 minute from the beach and the seafront gardens. The house is interesting, furnished as befits the Arts and Crafts period house, and is immaculately clean. The hosts, Graeme and Barbara, are superb and ensured that every need is catered for. We arrived to be offered tea and freshly baked cookies, which were served on a tray in our spacious and beautifully furnished room. The room itself was 5* standard, even down to fluffy white bathrobes and upmarket toiletries in the bathroom, and had the bonus of a patio with a sea view - sadly it was a bit too cold in late October to take advantage of sitting out, but in the summer it would be wonderful. We were staying for two nights, and we practically had to beg for our towels to be left and not changed after one evening's use! Breakfast had a huge range of choices, and portions were vast and very well cooked and presented, which set us up really well for a day of walking. I understood that as much of the food as possible is locally sourced. I could go on, but as other reviews also testify, this B & B is superb. Try it - you'll not be disappointed.
