Having just returned from a most enjoyable 2 night break a the Rembrandt. ,we stayed mid week Wednesday to Friday we used there superior room which was very nice it had all the things that you would expect, however I feel that the bath was very slippery without a anti slip mat in place they say if we'd asked for one it would of been supplied H&S and all that
If the chance came to return we would and also recommend it to all our friends who wish for a complete chill out.
Food was really cooked to a very high quality.Breakfast & evening meal, and the leisure suite and pool were of a high quality.
Hope this review is of help to anyone wishing to stay in Weymouth.

Room Tip: Go superior

We had a 3 night stay at this hotel for my birthday. There is a spa, swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Also a beauty area if you want to book in for treatment at an extra cost. We had a superior room which did have a huge American style bed. It was clean with good quality bed linen and plenty of towels. There was a good supply of assorted teas, coffee and hot chocolate in the room.
I could not fault the breakfast at all. You could request any type of eggs cooked to your liking.
Staff were very friendly. Due to us having a superior room we had a free newspaper of our choice on a daily basis.
We did not try the resteraunt in the evening, but were told to book a table if we did eat in.
Good WiFi access.

Room Tip: The downside of our room was it was on a busy main road, and very noisy when the windows were open. This could be a problem in Summer. I would also like to have seen a non-slip mat in the bath.

Best Western

Spent a Friday night at the Best Western in Weymouth. The location is pretty good, walk left out of the hotel and you make the seafront within 5 minutes. A gentle stroll along the seafront and you are in the main shopping ands eating area with all of what Weymouth has to offer. The harbour is especially nice and the fort beyond offers a nice walk.

Parking was free and convenient which seems to make a change these days.

Our room was comfortable and quite spacious with a separate seating area. The bed was comfortable. No view from the window, just another building that was very close. The bathroom was functional and had a free standing shower but no bath. Overall it was comfortable.

The room had a plentiful supply of teas, coffees and other drinks including complimentary bottled water.

The bar area was ok, did the job but not exactly welcoming. The hotel has a nice gym and indoor swimming pool, but its strange that the bar looks straight into the swimming pool and this put us off using it - who wants to be watched when splashing in the pool by people having an evening drink in the bar?

Breakfast was perfectly acceptable and as expected.

All of the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

It was a pleasant stay and well worth the price we paid.

Stayed at the Rembrandt for Christmas, and had an excellent time. We had Christmas dinner, with family, at the hotel and it was excellent. Staff were efficient and friendly and the food was great. Would highly recommend this hotel.

What a gem, Hotel was brilliant, rooms were excellent, food was very good and the staff were very customer focused, nothing was to much trouble for them. Location was excellent, we will definitely be staying there again. Allan and Ros

Room Tip: Superior room worth the extra cost.
